There is probably not a single person who would not like fruit at all. And why not love them? There are no objective reasons. But there are a lot of reasons to really appreciate the fruit. All these properties have inspired nutritionists to create a fruit diet. There are several varieties of such diets: a three-day mono- diet, the Joan Lunden diet, a dried fruit diet, and a fruit diet, designed to completely change eating habits. Let's consider some of them.
Fruit diet
It is allowed to eat fresh fruits, cereals in water without oil, lean meat. This diet does not imply a strict menu, the main thing is to adhere to a given list. However, you canโt sit on such a diet for more than 3 days, since such a diet is by no means balanced. Yes, and repeat more than once a month is not worth it.

An American actress and TV presenter, Joan Lunden has developed her fruit-based diet. It is designed, like the previous one, for three days. The basis of the diet are fruits such as apples, citrus fruits and kiwi. In this case, we are talking about a clearly planned menu for each day.
The first day. You need to eat half a medium-sized melon and some yogurt for breakfast. For lunch - a salad of orange, kiwi, and strawberries. Season salad with low-fat yogurt. Dinner should consist of half a grapefruit, 170 grams of chicken, boiled and vegetable salad with lemon juice. As a dessert, you can eat two plums.
Second day. Mix half a cup of any fresh berries and the same amount of cereal seeds for breakfast. For lunch - a few slices of pineapple. 170 g of boiled turkey, orange - for dinner, two nectarines - as a dessert.
Day Three 2-3 slices of watermelon and a pack of natural yogurt for breakfast. For lunch - a banana and a small cup of strawberries, plus apple juice. Dinner: 170 g of flounder, a little Brussels sprouts, for dessert - berries.
It is easy to guess that this diet should not be abused. It will not lead to anything good.
Mono diet
Offers for three days to eat only low-calorie fruits and water. Fluids should be consumed 1.5-2 liters per day. Unlike other diets, this one does not mean splitting food into several meals. You just need to eat some fruit every time a person feels hunger.
Well, the last fruit diet, which offers just the introduction of more fruits into the diet. In fact, fruit is proposed to replace all snacks between main meals. That is, every time a person feels hunger or a desire to eat something tasty, but high-calorie, instead, you need to eat some fruit.
In this diet, it is permissible to consume fruits in any form: fresh, canned, in the form of jelly, dried fruits. This diet, ideally, involves a gradual change in eating behavior in principle. That is, a complete rejection of various fast food and sweets in favor of fruits.
A few general recommendations for a fruit diet:
- It is better to eat more high-calorie fruits in the morning;
- do not limit yourself to the number of fruits in the early days, to make the start a little easier;
- on days of increased physical activity it makes sense to eat more fruits than on days when activity is minimal.
Fruit diet is one of the most sparing. It practically does not harm the body, rather benefits it and allows you to naturally lose those extra pounds.
