Veronika Krasheninnikova: biography
Veronika was born in Cherepovets, in the Volgograd region. It happened on October 12, 1971. After graduation, she entered the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute at the Faculty of Engineering and Economics. In addition to basic subjects, she perfectly mastered English and French.
In 1996, she became one of the UN employees in the Geneva office, where she worked for only a year. From 1998 to 2000, she advised European companies as part of a program on international relations.
In 2001, Veronika Krasheninnikova became a member of the Council for Trade and Economic Cooperation with the United States (STES). This organization was located in New York and oversaw most of the transactions of American companies with Russian entrepreneurs. In the period from 2003 to 2005, Krasheninnikova holds the post of executive director in this organization.
In early 2006, she became president of STEC in New York. And in March of the same year, the governor of St. Petersburg appoints her the main representative of the cultural capital in the United States.
In 2011, Veronika Yurievna opens her own non-profit organization, the Institute of Foreign Policy Research and Initiatives, in Moscow.
In March 2013, by order of President Krasheninnikov, Veronika became a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. And after 3 years, in February 2016, he became a member of the United Russia party. Moreover, she is considered one of the main figures in this political bloc.
