What you need: red cabbage, orange, apple, lemon juice, light mayonnaise.
The exact proportions for this salad do not exist. Everything is taken in accordance with your own tastes and preferences.
What to do:
- Chop the cabbage, irrigate it with juice squeezed from the lemon (usually 1 tablespoon is enough) and send it to some cold place for 1 hour; grate the apple (coarse).
- Peel the orange and cut into small slices. Mix all the ingredients and season with mayonnaise.
Such a salad is just a real storehouse of vitamins! Moreover, its calorie content is very low. And if you do not use mayonnaise as a dressing, but vegetable oil with mustard, then the number of calories will be even less!
Red cabbage salad. Recipe number 2
What you need: red cabbage (300 grams), lettuce (200 grams), canned sugar corn (150 grams), cherry tomatoes (200 grams), soy sauce, vegetable oil (preferably olive), walnuts (optional), salt (to taste, but it should be borne in mind that soy sauce is quite salty).
What to do:
- Rinse thoroughly in running water and dry the lettuce leaves with a paper towel. Finely tear them.
- Chop cabbage, cut tomatoes into four parts.
- Grind the nuts in a coffee grinder (or using a blender). If none of these devices is present, the usual rolling pin will help out. Put the nuts on the table and walk on them with a rolling pin. Attention! Nuts should not turn into some kind of flour.
- Mix lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, corn and nuts in a salad bowl. Season with soy sauce and butter. Salt to taste!
Red cabbage salad. Recipe number 3 (warm salad)
What you need: red cabbage (400 grams), apples (300 grams), raisins (50 grams), white wine (150 grams), garlic (2 cloves), salt (to taste), black pepper (to taste), olive oil (40 grams).
What to do:
- Pour raisins with boiling water and leave for 30-40 minutes. Then drain the water, and rinse the raisins with maximum zeal.
- Chop cabbage. Cut the apples into cubes or thin straws.
- Heat the oil in a rather deep skillet and add garlic, previously passed through the press.
- Place cabbage, apples and raisins in a pan. Add salt and pepper. Fry, stirring constantly, for 10-15 minutes.
- Add wine. Simmer until liquid is almost gone.
