The world of wizards has its own hierarchy. As elsewhere, there are weak, and there are strong. Spells differ in the same way. There is a level of spells that not every wizard can cast. It either will not work at all, or the effect may turn out to be far from expected.
Expecto Patronum spell
This spell is aerobatics in the world of magic. Only a strong wizard can perform it without harm to himself and others. But even if, for example, a very young magician tries, he will not succeed. There may be several reasons for this: lack of experience, lack of concentration, dim memory.
"Expecto Patronum" literally means "I'm waiting for the protector." It is necessary to imagine some most vivid memory or moment and pronounce "ektekto patronum". With the necessary concentration, a cartridge appears. If the spell is cast by a strong mage, an animal will appear, representing the wizard. If the forces are small, a thin trickle-veil will appear.

The ekspecto patronus spell is used to protect against dementors and other dark creatures that feed on your joyful memories and emotions. Instead, they leave only emptiness, fear and bitterness. When they approach, the victim experiences genuine horror, so sometimes it is not possible to provoke any positive emotions in oneself. This requires truly enormous willpower and a well-trained concentration of attention.
If the spell turns out to be a veil, it will protect the wizard from the dementor. But if a strong wizard called his patronus, then the animal will be able to drive away monsters, despite their number. This is the most common use.
In addition to protection from dark entities, there is another purpose of the spell. A talking patronus can convey a message to another mage at a short distance. Also, with the help of a patron, you can illuminate your path while traveling along an unknown and dangerous path.
Who is the Expecto Patronum spell intended for?
There is a misconception that only a good wizard can use this spell. But this is nothing more than someone’s fiction. The spell is intended for each magician, regardless of belonging to one or another side.
The main point is the concentration on the evoked feeling. It does not have to be emotionally positively colored. Only the feelings that the caster experiences are important.
