Italian salads

A wide selection of different dishes and an unexpected combination of products is inherent in Italian cuisine. This overseas trend is becoming incredibly fashionable in Russia today. Italian Seafood Salads

Italy is famous for its seafood dishes. Therefore, there are salads that include such ingredients. One of them will require a pound of boiled seafood (squid, cuttlefish, shrimp, mussels, octopus), lemon, parsley, oregano, sweet pepper, 2 cloves of garlic, olive oil (6 tablespoons), black pepper and salt.

To start, the seafood mixture should be boiled (10 minutes). Sweet pepper is cut into strips. And then you can start preparing salad dressings. Garlic must be squeezed into a bowl. Half the lemon is squeezed there. All this must be filled with half the oil. Top dressing sprinkled with oregano, salt and pepper.

Seafood is sent to the resulting marinade, which is insisted there for about 2 hours. Then pepper gets here. A finely chopped parsley decorates the salad on top. Serve this Italian dish with slices of the remaining lemon.

Italian orange salads

Unusual for us are Italian dishes with fruits. So for this salad you will need 2 oranges, fennel, 2 onions, dried rosemary, 5 tablespoons of oil (only olive), a spoon of wine vinegar and basic spices.

Orange is very carefully cleaned and cut off the outer white film. Cut oranges in the form of circles, while removing all the bones. All pieces are laid out on a flat dish. Juice left over from oranges should be stored in a separate bowl.

Fennel is cleaned of rough parts, and the core is cut into small, neat cubes. Onions are chopped in rings. In a separate bowl mixes the juice from oranges, oil and, of course, wine vinegar, rosemary and basic spices. There placed chopped fennel for 10-15 minutes.

Spread oranges on a flat plate, spread onion on top, and then pieces of fennel. This salad is not only original and tasty, but also dietary and contains very few calories.

Variegated Italian Salads

Colorful salads are a separate part of Italian cuisine. They can be very different: just vegetable, fish, meat. This recipe is made with anchovies. And it will take a clove of garlic, 4 tomatoes, 2 sweet and yellow peppers, 1 cucumber, black olives, onion, anchovies, basil, a couple of tablespoons of olive oil, a spoon of wine vinegar, a boiled egg and salt.

The bowl in which the salad will be served must be grated with garlic inside. Tomatoes are cut in circles, and pepper - in half rings. Cucumbers, onions and anchovies should be chopped into small cubes. All these ingredients are stacked in one salad bowl. They add olives, basil. A salad dressing with olive oil and wine vinegar. The dish is salted, mixed, infused for 10 minutes and served on the table. You can decorate this Italian salad with slices of boiled egg.

Italian Cuisine. Salads with nuts

Italians often add nuts to different dishes. Especially popular are hazelnuts and almonds. Therefore, Italian salads have such a characteristic nutty aroma and flavor. For one of them you will need a little green curly salad, leaves of a regular green salad, petiole celery, 50 g of peeled hazelnuts, the same amount of parmesan cheese, a little olive oil, salt and black pepper.

First, curly salad is cut into thin strips. Celery is chopped into cubes, and hazelnuts are cut into large pieces (can be cut in half or 4 parts). Cheese is cut with thin, almost transparent plastics.

First, a curly salad is sent to the salad bowl , then celery and leaves of the usual green salad, and cheese and hazelnuts are placed on top. Before serving, the salad is seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper thoroughly.
