4. Take a wrench and unscrew the screws that secure the tension rollers.

5. Using a screwdriver, disassemble the timing belt. Check the position of the marks on the shafts. If they have moved, they should be set again.

6. Now, carefully, so that the marks do not go astray again, install a new mechanism strap. Use the roller to tighten the element. Then check the position of the marks again.

7. Reassemble in the reverse order.

8. Now check the tension. It is recommended that the crankshaft be turned in a circle a few turns, then check the position of the marks again.

9. The tension of the strap itself should be checked in the middle of the two rotating disks of the distribution pulley. The belt must not bend more than 6 mm. If the element is excessively overtightened, you will hear a characteristic sound. This, in turn, will significantly affect its service life.
