Red diploma

Today, the issue of higher education is quite relevant. In the courtyard of the 21st century, and those who graduated from a higher educational institution, for the most part become specialists in demand.

The first point that is specified in any recruitment agency is the availability of higher education. And this is one of the main reasons that it is very difficult to get into prestigious universities today: the younger generation realized that it is simply impossible to achieve success in life, make a career and have good earnings.

Each student, having graduated from a university, receives a document on his graduation, which is nothing more than an assessment of the knowledge of the theoretical and practical basis of the chosen specialty. Those who have done well in all the years of study are awarded a diploma with honors or, as the people say, a “red” diploma.

As a rule, in all higher educational institutions a “red” diploma is issued in the case when a student received an “excellent” mark in 75% of the subjects from the curriculum, for the highest mark he defended his thesis , final state certification and passed state exams.

The “red” diploma, the conditions for which it is determined in different educational institutions in different ways, should theoretically indicate that the student stood out among his fellow students with his zeal and knowledge.

Another area in which the “red” diploma opens the “green path” to the scientific world is postgraduate study, upon admission to which excellent grades of this document are taken into account.

Sometimes some universities allow the retake of a certain, strictly regulated number of academic disciplines, in which the student received four or even three. Obligatory condition can also be established to receive excellent marks in all special subjects, which are profiling.

Diploma of education in such specialties as a doctor, lawyer, accountant, nuclear physicist, technologist, etc. should be unconditional evidence that the student has behind his back the accumulated baggage of applied highly specialized knowledge that may be needed at any time in the process of his work. And it is the “red” diploma in such specialties that is an indicator of his professionalism.

In addition, for example, for lawyers, this document is a weighty statement for a successful career.

For students who graduate from a pedagogical university and work in their specialty, half of their salary is paid for a “red” diploma for three years, and in some professions a young excellent student is entitled to a surcharge of 100% of his salary.

Some believe that employers do not look at the “red” diploma at all, and therefore do not need it at all, which means that it is not worth the extra effort to get it. The main thing for such people is to receive a document on higher education. However, this opinion is somewhat erroneous: there are many real situations in which a diploma with honors is the main criterion, an advantage in the competition.

Education in itself is such a process in which everything depends on the abilities and capabilities of the student himself. And today it is often possible to meet a graduate of the most prestigious university, who, with his knowledge, is inferior to someone who graduated with honors, for example, from a technical school.

In 2011, the Federal Service, which deals with statistics on population employment in Moscow, published data that reveal, to put it mildly, a very unpleasant picture: of the total number of unemployed in the city, 20% are young people under the age of 24 - graduates of universities and colleges, moreover, a certain part of them has in their arsenal exactly the “red” diploma.
