Idefix is ​​a Russian rap group that was formed in Moscow. Currently working in St. Petersburg. The team became part of the ambush production association.
Story
If we talk about the name of the project, it should be noted that “idefix” is an outdated term that means a person’s obsession with a certain obsession. The group was created in 2008. In 2009, the clip "Vegetables" for a week was in the top of Youtube, and was also widely discussed on specialized resources. Idefix is ​​the group that recorded the Amalgam album. This work took the 3rd line of the “Album of the Year” nomination according to the version of the prorap resource.
In 2010, the company "ambush production" ceased to exist. From this moment, the group began to work autonomously. Active touring starts. Soon an acoustic album was recorded. In 2013, the group turns 5 years old. The band celebrated the anniversary in a Moscow club called “16 tons”, where the musicians performed a solo concert, within the framework of which the album “Victoria” was presented. Until 2008, the current participants in the Idefix project were known as the Rap City team. This association of musicians gained fame due to their participation in the creation of the soundtrack for the game Lada Racing Club. The composition “Gaining Turnover” was included in the anniversary issue of the project “Features of National Rap-10”. Together with the band Ezekiel 25-17, the song “In a city where there is no metro” was recorded.

We have already briefly talked about how the Idefix group was created. Her songs are perceived differently. In particular, Apelzin magazine about the album "Amalgam" wrote that he was listening in the same breath. All songs on this disc are recorded in minor scales, they are in harmony with each other. The texts are picked up from life, do not cause complaints, but the topics raised in them may seem unidirectional and narrow. Musicians consider problems not from above, but point blank, which ensures an accurate hit on target. The magazine "Peer" for the work "Thaw" rated the musicians as "very good." The publication emphasizes that musicians are actively experimenting with live sound - percussion, string and wind instruments. The Thaw album was half acoustic and partly fatal. It is difficult to call such a solution innovative, but it sounds quite worthy.

In 2011, the works “Fly” and “Misanthropy” appeared. In 2012, with the participation of Kurbat, the album "Welcome" was recorded. In 2013, the album "Victoria" appeared. In 2015, the album "Seventy-Two." “Idefix” is a group that released the following singles: “Great Demands”, “Echo”, “Believe”, “Breakfast”, “My”, “Desire”, “You”, “I Believe Your Eyes”, “Pathfinder” , “God is with us”, “Cosmos”, “Catch”, “Waves”, “Let”, “Clean”, “Traffic light”. The collective also shot video clips for the songs: “Carousel”, “Not Native”, “Vegetables”, “Great Demands”, “Echo”, “Fruit”, “Live”, “The Most Sad”, “You”, “Victoria”. Some of these works should be discussed separately. For example, the video clips “You” and “The Most Sad” fell into the broadcast rotation of the channel A-One. The musicians took part in several television projects.
