Any jack performs the function of raising the car to a certain height. But the device of the hydraulic jack has a certain feature, which lies in the height of the lift. This mechanism can lift the car up 30-50 centimeters. At the same time, it is widely used among owners of SUVs, vans and light trucks. In its design, it is somewhat different from mechanical counterparts. Thanks to the hydraulic mechanism, a person can lift a three-ton car, making such efforts as would be necessary to raise a passenger car. What are the differences in hydraulics
Today, all rolling mechanisms, including the hydraulic jack, differ in their carrying capacity. These devices can be designed for a load of two, three, four or even five tons. Typically, the maximum load of the mechanism is marked on the shell of the structure. As a rule, devices designed for a load of up to 2 tons are used to lift cars. The second difference between these mechanisms is, of course, the height of the lift. Most often, this indicator can be seen in the model of the jack itself. Thus, if the hydraulic bottle jack is marked 195-350, this means that the lifting mechanism operates in the range from 195 to 350 millimeters. For a passenger car, this height will be extremely large - such a device simply will not crawl along the vehicle’s ground clearance. With this marking, the jack is intended for SUVs. For small trucks, a mechanism marked 200-500 will go. That is, such a hydraulic jack is able to raise the machine to a height of 50 centimeters. This is perhaps the whole difference between hydraulics.
