Biography: childhood and adolescence

At the age of six, Nadezhdin moved with his family from Uzbekistan to the Moscow region (the city of Dolgoprudny). At school, the boy has good mathematical skills. At the age of 16 (in the tenth grade) he takes part in the mathematical Olympiad for schoolchildren in the Soviet Union, where he gets second place. In the same year, young Nadezhdin graduated from the famous physics and mathematics school No. 18 at Moscow State University, the founder of which was the largest Soviet mathematician, academician A. N. Kolmogorov.

This was followed by the successful completion of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (in 1985), and later - the Moscow Law Institute (in 1993). Also, as a student, Boris Borisovich Nadezhdin is fond of amateur performances, in particular, the author’s song. He organizes concerts of the Fizteh-song collective, and also composes and performs songs with a guitar.

To date, Boris Nadezhdin has released four discs with his own works. In addition to the author’s song, he is engaged in skiing, and is also interested in computer games - he is their real fan, according to Boris Borisovich Nadezhdin himself.

Nationality, family

The homeland of politics, as mentioned above, was the Uzbek USSR. Boris Nadezhdin himself defines his nationality as Russian, without denying the presence of Ukrainian, Polish, Romanian, Jewish and other roots in the family.

In one of his blogs, the politician admits that he does not fully understand the principle by which a person considers himself to be one or another nationality. “I've been thinking, but how did I know that I am Russian,” writes Boris Nadezhdin. Nationality, according to the politician, is not limited to spoken language or religious affiliation. An Orthodox person is not necessarily Russian in his nationality, and vice versa. “Many atheists consider themselves Russian,” says Boris Nadezhdin. Nationality does not have to coincide with religion. Accordingly, the politician concludes that he is Russian precisely because he considers himself to be such. And also because he speaks Russian.

At the same time, in modern society it is not particularly customary to focus on the fact that you are Russian. Some even try to avoid the word, says Boris Nadezhdin. Nationality, more precisely, an indication of it, is replaced by a neutral concept - “Russian”. Russians, in turn, can be citizens of different nationalities.

Currently, Nadezhdin is married (wife - Anna Klebanova, graduate of the Law Faculty of the Academy of National Economy). He is the father of three children: two daughters - Catherine (1982) and Anastasia (2001), as well as the son of Boris (2011). Has one grandson - Vyacheslav (2009).

Scientific and pedagogical activity

The politician also lectures at the Department of Law, established at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). Boris Nadezhdin is the author of two textbooks: “Legal and Political Problems of the Transition Period” (released in 1994) and “Fundamentals of State and Law of Russia” (1999 issue).

Collaboration with Boris Nemtsov

Joint political activity with Boris Nemtsov begins from the moment when he becomes the first deputy prime minister in the government of Viktor Chernomyrdin. At the same time, work was carried out with such major domestic state-owned companies as Transneft, Gazprom and RAO UES of Russia. One of the main problems in the activities of these companies at that time was the lack of a clear control system - they did not submit to the government and did not pay taxes to the state treasury.

In 2000, Boris Nadezhdin was appointed Boris Nemtsov’s first deputy for the Union of Right Forces faction.

After the murder of Boris Nemtsov in 2015, Boris Nadezhdin called in the press to not speculate on this tragedy and not increase the level of hatred in an already unstable society. On the contrary, according to the politician, it is necessary to consolidate on this basis, realizing that we are all one people.

Socio-political position

Nadezhdin Boris Borisovich regularly participates in various television projects, including talk shows. He considers active work on television, the willingness to publicly participate in debates as necessary elements of the political sphere, part of the profession of political figures. At the same time, the politician admits that the culture of debate on domestic television leaves much to be desired, but so far it has to be put up with. If a person wants to stay in the political sphere for as long as possible, he needs to be shown more often on television screens or on the Internet - otherwise he will simply cease to be recognized. As an example, Nadezhdin refers to the experience of Alexei Navalny, who maintained his popularity through the Internet media.

The politician defines his position on television as an attempt to open the eyes of the mass audience to the truth that is actively hushed up in the media. At the same time, Boris Nadezhdin admits that for this he often has to behave aggressively on the screen, however, he motivates this by the necessity and specificity of television debates.

Despite the negative reaction of most television experts in such programs, Nadezhdin believes that he manages to “shout” to his viewer. Evidence of this, according to the politician, is the numerous responses of the audience in which they thank Nadezhdin for voicing rational, correct ideas in an atmosphere of general insanity.

Nadezhdin also opposes pseudo-patriotism. True patriotism, according to the politician, lies in the desire to see a high standard of living in his country.

MFTI Boris Nadezhdin

Russian society at the moment, according to Boris Nadezhdin, is in a state of classical post-imperial syndrome. However, this in no way should stop the activity of modern opposition movements. Just time will gradually put everything in its place.
