A few years ago, Istra Teachers College was famous for its achievements, but after 2011 it ceased to be in the public hearing. This was due to some transformations. What happened to this institution? It was just renamed. Ssuz after 2011 continued to lead its glorious history under the name of Istra Professional College (IPC).

Pages of history

The famous pedagogical college of Istra began its formation and development in 1966 in the status of a school. It was opened on the basis of a school department, transferred from Yegoryevsk and previously part of another pedagogical school. At the very beginning of its activity, the educational institution trained primary school teachers. But time passed, and the school did not stand still, but developed. New programs appeared in it.

During the years of the existence of the USSR, the educational institution won several times in the competitions of pedagogical schools located in the Moscow region. In 1978, it became considered the base in the region. After this, the development of the school did not stop. In 2002, it reached a new level - it received college status.

Changes over the last decade

If we consider the last 10 years in the activities of Istra Pedagogical College, we can draw one conclusion: throughout this time, colleges were a modern educational organization, kept pace with the times. In 2007, he won the competition for the national project "Education", presenting a work entitled "Creating a model of a resource center for the training of teachers of preschool education." In the same year, the college was included in the top 10 best colleges in Russia.

In 2011, the educational institution was renamed Istra Professional College. This was done due to the discovery of new specialties not related to pedagogy. However, many people remembered exactly the Istra College of Education. This is a more familiar name for those who have ever studied in this institution or have been associated with it.

Pedagogical specialties

The existing areas of training at Istra Vocational College are divided into 2 groups - pedagogical and non-pedagogical. The first group includes:

• "Teaching in elementary grades";
• "preschool education";
• "Physical education".

A very responsible specialty is “teaching in elementary grades”, because it involves working with children. Those university students who study in this direction will work as teachers and play an important role in the formation of young personalities. After graduating from school, graduates are assigned to a certain group of children, take it from grades 1 to 4, and teach all subjects (with the exception of music, drawing, physical education). And for those who want to work with preschool children, there is a completely different program - “preschool education”. Future educators study at it.

The college prepares physical education teachers in the specialty “Physical Culture”. After graduation, graduates work with children, adolescents, and youth. The duties of specialists include teaching physical education in general education programs, conducting extracurricular activities in additional programs.

Non-pedagogical specialties

The group of non-pedagogical specialties of Istra Pedagogical College is represented by only 2 educational programs - “social work” and “law and organization of social security”. The first of them is quite noble, because it involves helping people in difficult life situations. Graduates will have to work with different categories of people - with people with disabilities, and with the elderly, and with families, and with children.

The specialty "Law and Organization of Social Security" is open to applicants who dream of becoming lawyers. It studies all the necessary legal disciplines that allow future graduates to ensure law and order in various areas of social protection of the population. The knowledge gained in college opens the way to social security agencies, pension funds.

Suggested forms of training

The former Istra Pedagogical College today offers applicants 2 forms of study - full-time and part-time. On the specialty of the secondary vocational school, both forms are not immediately available to choose from. On some programs, you can study only full-time, on others - only in absentia.

There are 3 specialties available for those who wish to study in full-time form - "teaching in primary school", "physical education", "social work". The correspondence department offers the rest of the educational programs - “preschool education” and “law and the organization of social security”.

How to go to college

Applicants who have chosen an IPC are required to visit the selection committee in the summer until mid-August and present documents to their employees - a passport, a school graduation certificate (diploma of graduation from another university or university), 4 photographs. In an educational institution, you will need to write an application for admission to Istra Pedagogical College, indicating in it:

• name, surname and patronymic;
• date of birth;
• passport details;
• information about previous education;
• selected program of secondary vocational education;
• need for a dormitory.

After submitting the documents, you can only wait for the release of the order for admission and the list of applicants who have become college students. Entrance tests are taken only in one specialty - “physical education”. They are carried out according to general physical training in the form of performing control exercises. The result of the passage is evaluated in the form of a set-off or a net-off.

In other specialties no examinations are provided. When accepting, only the average mark of the certificate is taken into account, that is, after the end of the introductory campaign, the selection committee holds a competition of educational documents. Applicants who have only three in the certificate fail to enter, since a significantly larger number of applications are submitted to college compared to the number of available places.

The ssuz is located in the Moscow region, in the city of Istra, on the street 9 of the Guards Division, 33a. People living in the capital of our country can reach the school in several ways:

1. By bus number 372. He runs daily. The bus route starts from the Tushinskaya metro station and ends at the Istra bus station. The journey from start to end takes 1 hour and 5 minutes. One of the stops is located on 9th Guards Division Street.
2. On an electric train. It gets to the station Istra (Riga direction). They either walk to college or take bus number 372.

Budget places and passing points

However, sometimes negative reviews about Istra Pedagogical College come across on the Internet. They are written by some correspondence students who complain about the quality of training. They indicate too few classes. However, this is not a violation of the educational organization. In the correspondence department, this is exactly the way the educational process goes. Students study the learning material on their own. Several classes are held so that students can communicate with the teacher, ask questions, and analyze the most difficult topics.
