  1. Having unscrewed five bolts, we remove a decorative casing of a steering column. The screws are different, so it’s better to remember which one, where it stood. In addition, to remove the cover, the steering column adjustment knob must be lowered down.
  2. The ignition switch is mounted on two clamps tightened with bolts that cannot be unscrewed with a key. Therefore, you have to use a chisel. You need to rest it in the hat and use neat, but rather strong blows to unscrew it until it becomes possible to do it with your hands. That is, a chisel does not need to cut a bolt, but use it as an analogue of a key.
  3. Thus, you have to unscrew all 4 screws.
  4. The lock will remain hanging on the wires.
  5. We disconnect the electrical connectors, and the ignition switch can be easily removed.
  6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
