The UN invited countries to set the date for the event themselves. November 20 is the day the Declaration on the Rights of the Child is adopted. But each country itself was determined with the time of the holiday. So, in the post-Soviet countries , June 1 marks the Children's Day. 2013 was no exception. Magic performances and concert programs were conducted by all children's institutions. In schools and on playgrounds, in kindergartens and camps, celebrations, games and just entertainment for children were held.
