Andrey Pozdnukhov - a native of the city of Tara, located in the Omsk region. About a century ago, families of exiles were often found in this region. Like many Siberians, Andrei cannot call himself completely Russian. His mother traces Polish roots.
Pozdnukhov was born in November 1976. The performer completely devoted his life to music. It took him a lot of time to search for himself the most interesting musical direction. In his youth, he listened to a variety of compositions, had a negative attitude only to pop singers who received wide rotation on the central television channel. He did not like the numbers and texts of the compositions they posed.
Most of all, Andrei Pozdnukhov gravitated to areas that a narrow circle of people like - varieties of rock, club music and rap. He met the latter thanks to the work of the group Public Enemy. The first rhymes of Pozdnukhov were about a simple courtyard life: problems with the police, lack of money and events that occur in each district. These are the lyrics that made the musician famous.
Musical experiments
In 1998, Andrei Pozdnukhov became a member of the Mercury group. She performed gansta rap and released her first album in a home studio. Its quality was not the best, as the musicians used unprofessional equipment. A year after the creation of the group, the second collection of 13 songs, called "The First", was released. He allowed the group to perform at the big Omsk festival with well-known performers throughout the country.
The team was not inferior to the capital in the quality of texts, but the group lasted only 4 years. In 2002, Andrei Pozdnukhov, whose photo you can find in this article, began his solo project Ezekiel 25:17. After some time, he left Omsk to Moscow and began to carry out creative activities in the capital. Support for the first album came from the group "Ellipsis", which already at that time were the owners of their own label and were at the peak of popularity.
It was in Moscow that a creative alliance with Anton Zavyalov appeared. In 2009, they began performing under the updated name “25/17,” from which the biblical reference was removed. In the spring of 2009, the first album, “Only Until Our Own,” was released under an updated name. It fully reflected the musical views of the performers. From this moment, they often begin to experiment on their compositions, attracting domestic rock stars for recording.
Andrey Blednyy Pozdnukhov is known for one more project. Ice 9 is a group that performs more complex and deeper texts. The need for a second parallel project arose because of a number of ideas that could not be implemented under the main title “25/17”.
Own label
Back in 1998, Andrei Aleksandrovich Pozdnukhov created the label "Ambush Production". His goal was to unite Omsk rap groups and their promotion on the domestic stage. Thanks to the actions of Andrei, Omsk rappers joined forces and began to produce better compositions, since now everyone had more resources.
In 2010, Pozdnukhov closed his own label, as the goal was achieved. During its existence, an independent musical organization changed its composition several times. According to Andrei himself, all the groups that worked with the label gained enough personal potential to move on. They have reached their goal.
Personal life
The rapper does not like to discuss personal life. It is known that in Omsk he graduated from the Pedagogical University, the faculty of graphic arts. After which he received the right to teach in schools and universities. During practice at the gymnasium, he met his second wife. She at that time studied in 11th grade. In 2003, lovers celebrated their wedding. The couple had two children: in 2011 - Yaroslav, and in 2014 - Stefania.
The musician's parents and grandmother still live in the city of Tara. Father is happy for Andrey that he was able to achieve fame, and mother is proud that her son is a famous musician.
