If you are interested in law, fighters for truth and right, then you probably looked closely at the profession of a lawyer, which is much deeper than it seems.
"Hard and plain-looking ..."
I want to start the article with this famous phrase that characterizes the life of a Russian lawyer. And not to say that the representatives of this profession live poorly, but it contains a lot of work, ingratitude and little conscience. But in general, who is such a lawyer? This concept came to us even from ancient Rome, where for the first time skillful speakers were used who spoke at the first trials in order to achieve a certain result from them. True, much has changed since then and now this profession is almost the most widespread, at least in our state.
Let's get back to the most important thing. So, lawyer ... What is it? First of all, he is a specialist in legal sciences. And although he is always spoken of in masculine gender (along with the word doctor), it is worth noting that at the moment, you can fully use the concept of a lawyer. This is the same legal specialist, only being a female representative.
Lawyer - who is it?
To begin with, it is worth noting that jurisprudence is a professional activity, which means that to practice it you will need to unlearn (4 or 5 years) in the right direction. So do not rush to rejoice if a pretty lawyer meets you in a specialized company. This does not mean anything at all, better take an interest in the qualifications of your future trustee. Suppose a person can be a true professional in criminal proceedings, but you should know firsthand about civil matters, so it’s not always worth contacting well-known lawyers, perhaps they are far from being so professional in your matter. It should be remembered that the goal of a lawyer is not only to help you resolve legal issues, but also to earn money, so you need to be as careful as possible on the legal market.
Competition
At the end of the last century, an urgent need for lawyers arose in our country, in connection with which their number, beginning in the late 90s of the 20th century, increased sharply. Growth dynamics have fallen markedly, but the profession is still very popular. And what can I say - its need is also incredibly high: these are state bodies, and governing bodies, and courts, and even specialized oversight bodies. But such an abundance of specialists in this profession leads to serious competition, which is actually good. Due to competition, we, firstly, have someone to choose from, and, secondly, this is an incentive for organizations to develop and improve the quality of service. So if you want to become a lawyer, be prepared for a tough fight for clients. True, the fair sex has small advantages - if you are a lawyer, this means that you also have a natural charm that attracts most of the clients (and most of them are men).
The line with the law
Everyone knows that the law cannot be perfect, and if some lawyers try to close all its gaps as much as possible, then others are only happy to use them. Needless to say, for this reason, jurisprudence is a dangerous profession? Often the edge of the law is so thin that it is practically impossible to correctly determine the legal field, which leads to a violation of existing norms and, as a result, to certain types of punishments. In fact, a lawyer is not a frequent visitor to the guilty bench (not counting administrative fines for, say, violation of the speed limit), but even the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation contains a number of articles that are applicable only to lawyers (regarding falsification of evidence, for example). If you choose this profession, always be on your guard, because the law is like fire - you can play with it for many years, but if you are not careful enough, it will definitely burn you.
Main danger
Oddly enough, but their own customers are most dangerous. Some of them promise you big problems related to negotiations, meetings and lawsuits. Someone will forget to submit the necessary documents, someone will mislead you yourself. Of course, this is not punishable, but in this case it will be very difficult to achieve a positive result, and, of course, you will be blamed.

A certain share of attention must be given to the opponent, and more precisely to his representative. And it’s good when you can quickly find a common, legal language with him, but this does not always happen, because each of you defends almost opposite interests, and you yourself can’t choose what is best for your principal. Moreover, this can also be fraught, because seemingly seemingly positive conditions can turn into serious difficulties for the one whose interests you represent. Once again, it is worth paying tribute to the female representatives: a lawyer is a real source of increased danger in business negotiations. If you had such luck, it’s better to think three times before trying to find a common language.
