Today, about the Quest Pistols Show group, the composition of which has changed three times over the course of eight years of musical career, is known to every little expert on contemporary domestic show business. Who would have thought that the April Fools ’performance-drawing of three outrageous dancers will develop into a real mega-popular project.
Group Creation History
The song collective has been around for 8 years, but initially, Anton Savlepov, Nikita Goryuk and Konstantin Borovsky were only shocking choreographers who founded Quest in 2004. The guys are bright personalities who are accustomed to amaze and fascinate the Kiev audience. With the debut song, everything turned out that way. On the Chance project from Inter TV channel on International Day of Humor and Laugh, the guys performed a cover of the song Long and Lonesome Road by the Dutch collective Shocking Blue. The public’s recognition was lightning fast, 60,000 messages in support of the track and its performers became the starting point for the reckless trinity, and the song “I'm tired” took off at the first steps of the domestic music charts.
If a person is endowed with God's spark, then he is talented in everything. So the guys showed the inclinations of vocalists, composers and poets. Each new track of the collective becomes a hit and long-lived hit parade.
Members
The success of the Fast Pistols was overwhelming. Their faces immediately began to appear in Ukrainian and Russian glossy, and the guys in between rehearsals and the creation of their debut album did not have time to give an interview. Initially, the Quest Pistols Show, whose roster grew to five members in 2014, was designed as a male trio. The backbone of the team and the first laurels of recognition went to the founders of the group: Anton Savlepov, Konstantin Borovsky and Nikita Goryuk.
A few years after a successful start, information about the breakup of the team began to leak into the press. In February 2011, fans of the group were horrified by the news that the team was leaving one of its most striking members - Anton, but the idols hastened to calm the worried crowd and soon gave a refutation of this information.
In the summer of the same year, the trio unexpectedly became a quartet: another member joined the guys - Daniil Matseychuk. But a month later, Konstantin Borovsky announced the tabloids to stop working on the project. Rather, about changing his status: from a soloist, the showman reincarnated as the curator of Pistols.
The guys continued to shock the audience with their performances, videos and released more and more interesting material. But this three were not destined to please their fans for a long time. Already in 2013, Daniel Joy went on a solo voyage. Rather, he left the group to create a KBDM boy band with Kostya Borovsky.
Quests continued to tour, but already together. In early 2014, a masked dancer joined them.
Dear Change Pistols Quest
It was at the beginning of 2014 that the media increasingly began to talk about the creative crisis in the team. During this period, Nikita Goryuk released the solo track "White Bride", rumors began to circulate that the group would cease to exist at all.
While the producer of the team, Yuri Bardash, and the participants themselves openly ignored the paparazzi and kept the intrigue, interest in the project has decreased significantly. And here she is, a time bomb: in April, the guys appeared to the public in a new role and introduced fans to the new participants of the “Pistols”.
New team format
During the year, when Nikita Goryuk and Anton Savlepov performed in pairs, the guys presented to the public a clip for the song Baby boy. The work was fundamentally different from the previous material and was completely unusual for the way the participants performed. Perhaps this was the tactical move of the producer of the group, or the guys did not yet know in which direction they would move on. But more and more information began to appear on the change in the format and sound of the collective. Nevertheless, the organizers of the Quest Pistols Show did not provide photos of new participants for some time.
And only when the updated title of the famous group appeared, and since April 2014 it sounded like the Quest Pistols Show, the composition of the collective was replenished with three newcomers: they became eminent dancers Miriam Turkmenbaeva, Washington Salles and Ivan Krishtoforenko.
In one of the many interviews, the shocking stars admitted that a new era has come in the history of the group. Vocalists said that they decided to return to their origins and present the fans with a completely new dance show. Now the main emphasis in the work of the project is on choreography, special effects, and the old tracks have gained a new, more modern sound.
And immediately, in confirmation of the words about the Quest Pistols Show, participants on all the musical channels of the country and the near abroad presented their new video for the song "Santa Lucia."

The new look of virtuoso, diverse dancers pleased the audience, and the new video immediately captivated all the podiums of the charts, not only domestic but also foreign. Today, the team has become the favorite of demanding Russian fans.
What did the guys imagine in their creation? High-quality visual picture, vivid images and costumes make the video as enchanting as possible. The choreography is amazingly professional. Opposing styles of the participants give the impression of some kind of dance battle. And, despite the new concept of the collective, which pushes the vocals to the background, the track turned out to be very harmonious and memorable. A few days after the rotation of the video on the air and the global network, the clip gained more than a million views.
Many music critics, and simply admirers of the group’s creativity, expressed the opinion that the new composition was that gulp of oxygen that brought the project back to life. The girl - Miriam Turkmenbaeva was especially intrigued in the video clip of the Quest Pistols Show "Santa Lucia". To all lovers of dancing, and especially hip-hop, she has long been familiar with her participation in the first project of the show "Everybody Dance", where she reached the finals.

After such an enchanting return, "Pistols" again proved that they are a phenomenon of the domestic music industry.
The guys have grandiose plans for the current year. The team prepared a large-scale dance show for Russian cities. Then unbridled creatives plan to conquer the sites of Asia and America.
