Throughout its existence, man has always wondered: "Who created me, who is behind all this?" This is not surprising, it is the consciousness with which a person is endowed, the ability to ask such questions, the desire to reach the truth and distinguishes us from animals.
We ask these questions, but have not come to a single and true answer to them. But let us, before delving into such an intimate topic for every person as religion, we ask ourselves whether the very fact of attaining truth in such sacred issues is possible. What if it is for everyone, because the spiritual world of a person is completely not subject to the existing laws of physics and logic.
After everyone answers this question, I propose to take a brief excursion into the history of religion and touch upon such a concept as “faith in God”. From the time of the primitive communal system, man has ascribed divine power to everything that surrounded him. At that stage of development, such phenomena as a thunderstorm or rain, natural disasters and other rampage of the elements seemed completely unthinkable to man . This is precisely what gave impetus to giving all these phenomena a supernatural origin. But it is worth noting that the religion of the primitive communal system is not faith in one God. It was from polytheism that man came out and began to try to know his spiritual world, to give an explanation to everything.
What happened next is known to every person, so I suggest you not focus on the characteristics of the three main religions and listing their possible pros and cons, but take a different path.
Belief in God is a rather intimate concept; I would not want to fit it into any framework.
See what today's faith is like. It’s high time for a man to stop being so conservative and stiff and to admit one fact with which his spiritual enlightenment will begin - faith in God without religion is possible. And for those people who need temples and ceremonies in religion, I suggest first to get acquainted with the Holy Scriptures and recall at least the case when Jesus drove the merchants out of the temple. What are today's temples and denominations? Have they not become, for today's man, a merchandise house in which any rite can be ordered, and the abbot of the church will pray for the most heinous sins of God for God for his payment?
And here, in my opinion, the main human error occurs. Disappointed in the ministers of the church, a person begins to be disappointed in God, completely not wanting to distinguish between these two concepts. Faith in God for him begins and ends with the threshold of the church. But let's not think about things so negative, yet our article is about God, and God is, first of all, love.
So, what can a person do to a lost and disappointed person, searching everywhere but not finding, a person who feels with all his gut that his whole life was not an accident in the process of collision of two some elementary particles in a universal void, but was created by someone ?
Do not seek God in others; first try to find him in yourself. In a metaphysical sense, faith in God is a state of spiritual harmony, a kind of universal great love. No one can tell you how to achieve this state, it is individual for each person and is not controlled by formulas and methods.
But still there are some practical tips for finding God in yourself. Refuse all material things, God does not touch. Treat with love to people, as little as possible show aggression in your communication with them.
Remember, Christian justice is different than usual. So, having one apple, to divide it equally for an ordinary person means to divide in half. To divide an apple equally for a believer means to give another three quarters, and leave a quarter for yourself.
Do not renounce religions as a whole, just know how to separate the grain from the chaff. Distinguish truth from lies - and you will find your God in yourself. This will be your path to salvation.
