So, based on 20 servings, we need:

  • 200 ml of vegetable oil (preferably odorless);
  • 200 ml of simple boiled water;
  • 200 grams of nuts;
  • 200 grams of granulated sugar;
  • 450 grams sifted wheat flour.

Nut Tubes Recipe in Action

First you need to pour vegetable oil and boiled water into a small saucepan, bring the mixture to a boil and set aside to cool.

Then we start pouring wheat flour into a warm mixture and kneading an elastic and smooth dough. Here you need to pay attention to the following: flour may be needed less than indicated in the recipe for nut tubes: the dough should not turn out too tight.

For the filling, you can take any nuts, and the most delicious filler will come from a mixture of different varieties.

We clean the nuts, grind them with a rolling pin or a blender to the desired degree. We send granulated sugar to the nuts. If desired, can be replaced with honey. So, the filling will not crumble much, and it will be easier to wrap in dough.

Roll out the finest dough (about 3 mm thick) and cut into identical rectangles in a ratio of 10: 5 (cm).

Now you need to put a nut filling on the edge of the rectangle and roll the dough into a tube. We lay out the resulting tubes on a baking sheet: you need to lay out at a small distance from each other.

Then bake the tubes in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees. When serving, sprinkle the nut tubes with powdered sugar (optional).

To prepare the test, we need:

  • 4 cups wheat flour;
  • 1.5 cups fat sour cream;
  • 200 grams of butter.

For sweet toppings:

  • 2 cups walnut kernels;
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar;
  • half a glass of flower honey;
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (can cardamom);
  • several egg yolks for greasing products.

Put the softened butter in the dishes and beat until fluffy. Add sour cream and small portions of flour (only half) in the process of stirring, knead the dough. We spread the prepared dough on a table sprinkled with flour, add the rest of the flour to it, continue to knead for about 8-10 minutes until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

At the same time, we are preparing a nut filling. To do this, peeled walnuts are passed through a meat grinder, add granulated sugar, crushed cinnamon (cardamom), honey and mix thoroughly.

We divide the finished dough into several pieces. Roll each of the pieces into a strip so that it is wider at one end.

Lubricate the surface of the dough with oil. We put the filling on the strips and roll up the tube, starting from the wide end. We spread the prepared tubes on a baking sheet, greased with oil, cover them with egg yolk and bake for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven. Sprinkle the prepared tubes with powdered sugar and vanilla if desired.
