Natalia Komarova was one of three candidates nominated by the Russian president for the post of governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Okrug - Ugra. During the election, 28 of the 35 deputies voted for her. In 1978, Natalia Komarova received a diploma in Economics and Organization of Construction, graduating from the Mining and Metallurgical Communal Institute. In October 2000, Natalia Komarova received a new position. She became the first deputy governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
