Islam is considered one of the most extensive world religions that live and prosper in the modern world. Islam appeared in Russia a very long time ago, back in the 7th century, when the Russians first captured the city in which they preached this religion. Islam now has many branches, some of which extol their faith so much that they are ready to put an end to life in order to please Allah.
Sufism
One of the directions is Sufism. However, it is completely the opposite of preaching the complete unity of Islam and Allah.
It promotes asceticism and higher spiritual values instead of earthly, material ones. That is why Sufism is often confused with Buddhism, since the idea of these two religious directions is similar. The most interesting thing among the Sufis is that there has never been such a person or event in the world who would become the founder of this movement. Rumor has it that the direction arose by itself, with the advent of man in this world. From birth, each of us has a sacred light, which is a certain beginning of God in man. Sufists have always been, always existed people who preached the power of the highest human light and the highest mind.
Moreover, any person can profess Sufism, you can be an ordinary worker with a minimum salary and an apartment in Khrushchev, but believe that the light always wins and necessarily makes a person better. As soon as Islam appeared in Russia, so did Sufism. However, over time, he lost his historical guise and became just a doctrine promoting wisdom. The Sufis do not care who told these or those commandments; for them there is neither Moses, nor Christ, nor Magomed. The main thing is what God has given to people, the rest is already losing its meaning.
Sufi tariqah
Many of these creeds, like Sufism, advocate some ways to purify or achieve a special connection with God. So the Sufi tariqa is a special method of reuniting a person and a deity in which he believes.
Tariqas imply not only spiritual purification, but also renunciation of earthly goods, asceticism. Each community uses its own path of reunion with God. Also, tariffs are divided by the degree of spirituality of a person.
Muridism
Muridism is a direction in Sufism, which is an ordinary Sufi tariqah, that is, a way of communicating with the gods. In Muridism, there is such a belief that a person can improve and achieve some levels of perfection. The first of the steps symbolizes the Quran, that is, full observance of the commandments given by Allah to people. This is the so-called “earthly perfection”: a person lives, rejoices, but does not violate the divine law. However, above all dogmas and rules, people who preach Muridism have mysticism. It is he who makes it possible to know the truth in the form in which it appears to God, or rather, to see the truth of God himself.

However, a person does not immediately come to such a path as Muridism, only after some time can be said about him that he has chosen a tariff, literally "chose a path." In other words, Muridism is the doctrine of choosing the right path that promotes both spiritual and physical development. After all, everyone will agree: if everything is good in the soul, then there will also be no problems in the body.
The History of Muridism
Muridism, in contrast to Sufism, did not appear immediately in Islam; religion has undergone many changes, or, as it is commonly called, pollution. Perhaps, this creed can also be called pollution, because it is not obligatory, but only supplements certain canons of the main religion.
One thing is certain: Russian muridism was born in the Caucasus, when in the 17th century one of the Muslims brought the commandments of Sufism there. Magomed Yaragsky consulted with other ministers of Muslim mosques and came to the conclusion that the truth lies in the Sufi commandments and only it will save a person and his soul. But not only salvation was significant for Muslims, Magomed saw in him salvation for Islam dying at that time.
And Muridism is a part of Sufi teaching, without which it has no meaning. The elders were sure that due to the pressure of all Russian, because of the Orthodox religion and the growth of the forces of Russia, the Caucasus began to gradually wither away with Islam.
In 1829, the teachings spread throughout the entire Caucasus and gained immense popularity among those who wish to revive Muslim beliefs.
The Commandments of Muridism
As in any other dogma, there are basic tenets of muridism that must be strictly followed by those who believe. Muridism can even be called an independent religion, since a person should worship followers and mentors, participate in the purification of Islam from infidels, try to spread the Muslim religion throughout the country and do everything to organize an obedient society. In general, muridists are a fairly patriotic people in the sense that they believe in the unity of their faith and the correctness of their methods of natural selection.
Muridism today
The center of this doctrine is the little-known city of Tuba, which is the burial place of the religious mentor of all Sufis and Murids Amadou Bamba. This is the only religious figure known to the present, who is some authority for all adherents of Islam, but he died in 1965.
This man spent 12 years of his life in exile, because the French authorities, seeing the influence on the people of his muridistic dogmas, were afraid of its greater spread. At the moment, the Sufis have not found a new one elected to such a position. But this faith is growing and gaining momentum, now there are about a million followers of Amadou, and their number is increasing daily.
Muridism is a truly vast doctrine, which aims at worshiping previous mentors and cleansing the Muslim lands of "dirt", in other words, from infidels. It is difficult to judge the correctness of this approach, but this number of believers speaks for itself.
