From a technical point of view, croissants are called bakery products made in the form of a crescent of small size, from puff yeast dough. Such pastries are one of the traditional products of French cuisine, the most important element of the classic breakfast of a true Frenchman, who, moreover, found a warm response in the souls of not only residents of France, but also many foreigners. After half an hour, you can roll out the dough, cut into triangles and spread the filling, for which you should grate the cheese coarsely and mix it with melted butter. Gently wrapped crescents of croissants can be transferred to a greased baking sheet and baked for half an hour until the treat gets a golden crust.
A very interesting recipe for croissants with chocolate. The easiest way is to take ready-made yeast puff pastry for this - and throw all your energy into creating a delicious filling. To do this, you need dark bitter chocolate (150 g.), Ready dough (1 kg.), Egg and coarse sea salt. First you need to carefully roll out the dough layer, first thawing it, then cut it into small pieces of a triangular shape. Then, on each piece, you can put portions of hot chocolate, fold them in the shape of a crescent and grease with a beaten egg. Before making croissants, it is worth sprinkling raw billets with salt in a small amount, keeping for a quarter of an hour for separation and baking for the same time. The readiness of the French delicacy is evidenced by its significant increase in size and the acquisition of a wonderful golden crust.
