Europe is the cradle of modern civilization, its current world order. Here are some of the oldest (in the sense of continuous history) states of the world. After all, this is part of heraldry, and its homeland is the Old World.
Flag of Europe - Flag of the European Union
The main flag of the continent since the creation of the European Union is a blue panel with gold stars located in the center in a circle (according to the number of participating countries). However, it does not cancel the national flags of states. And not all of Europe is the European Union.

The oldest flag in Europe is the de facto flag of Denmark (1291), which, according to legend, fell from the sky to the Danish king during the battle. The youngest is considered the state symbol of the unrecognized DPR. In February of this year, a white eagle βflewβ from the flag of the rebellious Donbass.
