The emergence of computers at the end of the last century significantly affected the pace of development of any industry. This industry, trade, transportation, entertainment and much more. The uniqueness of computerization is that it penetrated not only into production activities, but also into the life of almost every resident of our country. Today, such a picture does not seem surprising: the old man sits on a park bench with a tablet, and not with a newspaper. A few years ago, it was impossible to see in any part of the world. Stationary computers, although they were in almost every house, were cumbersome. Laptops that appeared later became a salvation for the people of the business world, students. They take up much less space than hospitals, and, of course, more mobile. It was the last characteristic that gave impetus to the emergence of a new type of laptop - a tablet. He quickly conquers the modern market. So how is a tablet different from a laptop?

The first and most noticeable difference is the lack of a keyboard or, as it is also called, a docking station. After reading the last sentence, a person who is looking for an answer to the question of how the tablet differs from a laptop, of course, will say: βWell, they surprised. Itβs as if itβs not already visible. β Of course, you can see, but do not underestimate the keyboard. If you work with texts or documents, then remember that the typing speed drops at times on the tablet. That is, you will again learn to type familiar letters. But in this situation there is a way out: keyboards connected to the laptop became available for sale. They are expensive, as are covers, which can often be transformed into a stand. But once you pay, you will gain the undoubted and indispensable convenience and comfort at work, while your laptop will not lose mobility.

The small screen also does not contribute to performance. You will also have to get used to such a monitor. Of course, if you can afford a tablet with the largest screen (the price directly depends on such a parameter), then this problem will be practically solved by you.
The operating system is another answer to the question of how the tablet differs from a laptop. Most mobile computers have Android installed. This system has so far proved to be the best in laptops of the budget option. An Apple tablet computer (also called an iPad) is equipped with the iOs operating system. It was originally developed for the iPhone. Therefore, those who use such a gadget will be much more convenient and familiar to work specifically on Apple tablets. The Windows 8 system, assembled specifically for mobile laptops, has not yet proved to be very good at work. Users often complain about software freezes. Let's say about such a system that it is more suitable for laptops (in the version of Windows 7).
The battery is a good argument to help you understand how the tablet differs from a laptop. The latter in battery mode will help you to work for a maximum of 3 hours. The tablet works up to ten hours, and if you use a docking station (keyboard), then up to 16.
We wonβt even mention the difference in weight. Just look at a particular gadget, and it will be clear who has the advantage in this matter.
In a separate paragraph we will tell what tablet laptops are. They can be divided into four types. The first is mobile computers that do not have a keyboard and touch pad. This is a pure tablet. The second type is a laptop with a rotatable screen and the ability to transform into a laptop. The third category includes tablets with a touch screen and the ability to connect a keyboard via bluetooth. And the last type includes devices with very small displays (4-7 inches). These tablet laptops are more like PDAs.
