In the broadest case, even for completely healthy people, breakfast should contain whole grains. Thus, a plate of oatmeal, so many unloved, is the best breakfast. A certain complex of carbohydrates, which are found in many whole grains, in combination with fiber, can provide a feeling of fullness much longer, which will reduce the temptation to once again have a bite to eat. In addition, fiber is able to stabilize pressure and, most importantly, strengthen the walls of blood vessels, which is especially important for hypertensive patients, reducing the likelihood of strokes.
Itβs not entirely true that blood pressure lowering foods should not contain fat. In fact, the human body needs to consume a certain amount of fat daily, approximately 20% of all calories. The only question is what kind of fats they will be. Ideally, they should be saturated, it is they that contribute to the strengthening of blood vessels and stabilization of pressure, of course, when consumed within reasonable limits.
As much as some would like, but carbohydrates are simply necessary for a person to live, their lack reduces working capacity, mental activity. Another question is that products that lower blood pressure, in addition, also contain fiber, which was mentioned above. The most indicative in this regard are legumes, which not only saturate a person, provide him with energy, but also reduce blood sugar.
