Samara State University of Economics (SSEU) is located in the capital of the Central Volga region - the city of Samara. Training is conducted in 99 educational programs, in which the emphasis is on the practical application of knowledge in the field of business, management, jurisprudence. General information
Samara State University of Economics is the assignee of the Kuibyshev Planning Institute, founded in 1931. For many years, the model of lifelong learning has been successfully applied at SSEU: the university conducts active pre-university training, implements bachelor's, master's, postgraduate, doctoral and continuing education programs in the widest possible range of areas.
Each year, over 10,000 students and about 2,500 students (in particular, managerial personnel) undergo training in more than 30 departments. Training is conducted in 9 large groups of specialties, numbering about a hundred educational programs. SSEU students study in 40 undergraduate profiles; Masters are trained in 22 master's programs in 8 areas.

Admission Rules
The admission committee of the Samara University of Economics in 2017 accepts documents for undergraduate and specialty programs from June 20 to July 11. For master's programs - from June 20 to August 10, regardless of the form of study. Examinations are held until July 26 for future specialists and bachelors, until August 11 for masters.
Persons arriving under contracts from organizations can submit documents in the following terms:
- Undergraduate (full-time): from June 20 to August 15.
- Undergraduate (in absentia): from June 20 to September 15.

As a rule, the selection criteria change annually and depend on the degree of preparedness of incoming applicants. Each specialty has its own passing score. For example, in 2016, according to the specialization “economics”, on a full-time basis, he amounted to 244 points, correspondence - 183.
