Group Creation History
No one can name the exact date of the appearance of Love Stories. Casting, announced by producer Valery Belotserkovsky, lasts 3 months (February-April 2002).
The composition of the Love Stories group was to include girls with a pretty appearance and excellent vocal abilities. Information about the upcoming casting was distributed through radio stations and television. Hundreds of girls rushed to Moscow, dreaming of becoming popular and rich. A huge line lined up next to the Megapol production center. Some girls sang right on the street, others decided not to waste their strength.
Valery Belotserkovsky did not expect that the casting would bring together so many beauties. Then the producer decided to create a television project. According to his idea, the girls had to spend a month in a country boarding house, working with the best choreographers and vocal teachers. Later, the idea of Belotserkovsky was borrowed by the organizers of the Star Factory-1. The project was a huge success with the audience.
Love Stories Group: First Team
Numerous auditions left behind. Of all the applicants, 4 girls were selected: Kristina, Zhenya, Maya and Olya. They got to work closely. Day and night, the singers rehearsed, honed vocal skills, memorized dances and recorded in the studio. After a month of painstaking work, the Love Stories group appeared before the public. Songs for girls were written by the best poets and composers.
Their first hit was the song "School". She was constantly played on the air of "Russian Radio". A week after the premiere, Belotserkovsky decided to make a video for this song.
On May 30, 2002, visitors to the Solaris Club saw the entire composition of the Love Stories group. There the girls performed the song "School" live. Star guests, including Vadim Baykov, singer Alsu and others, came to congratulate the newly-minted group and their producer.
All summer Olya, Maya, Zhenya and Kristina spent in Moscow. They had no time for rest. The producer set certain tasks for them. Every day they were waiting for classes in the dance class and four-hour rehearsals of songs.
In September 2002, the second video for the song “Three Nights” was shot. The audience appreciated this creation. In December, the group pleased their fans with a new song called “New Year's”.
Composition changes
Russian show business quickly adopted a new girl group. It became obvious to everyone that it included professional singers who knew how to move and work with the audience.
The composition of the Love Stories group changed already in January 2003. The team left Zhenya. A trio formed. Christina, Olya and Maya continued to record songs, perform in clubs and go on tour.
In the period from 2003 to 2010, the members of the group were Sati Casanova, Tonya Klimenko, Natasha Podolskaya and others.
Mariya Kozhevnikova
Many associate the name of this actress with the group "Love Stories". Was she also singing with the girls? Now we will clarify the situation. We remind you that in 2002 there was a casting. So, Maria Kozhevnikova successfully passed it. She was supposed to be one of the soloists of the group. But at the last moment, the blonde refused. Masha chose an acting career. And I must say that she succeeded in this area.

Girls came and went: someone calmly, someone with a scandal. But Belotserkovsky was not going to dissolve the group. He quickly found a replacement for the departed soloists. Love Stories are still popular. Their songs are constantly played on radio and city discos.
