Prayer to the great martyr Tatyana: on health, academic success, protection and help

Prayer to the Holy Great Martyr Tatyana is offered on various occasions. The saint is the patroness of students and, in principle, all who learn something, but she helps not only in mastering knowledge.

They turn to her for help in different life situations. They ask the saint for protection from misfortunes, illnesses, sorrows, troubles. They pray to her not only in special circumstances, but also daily.

Who is it?

Tatyana lived in Rome at the very beginning of the third century. The empire was ruled at that time by Marcus Aurelius North Alexander. Briefly, the emperor is called Alexander North. He was not loyal to Christians, however, like many other rulers of Rome.

The future saint was born in a highly respected, noble family. Her father was honored three times to serve the people of Rome as a consul. However, like many other citizens of the empire, her parents did not worship pagan gods, but professed Christianity.

Martyrdom of Tatiana resembles a fantasy novel. First, she, like all the Christians who were arrested, was brought to the nearest pagan temple and offered to worship the idol statue. However, the future saint offered a prayer to the Lord, and then an earthquake began. Then Tatyana was tortured, but traces of damage disappeared from the body literally in the eyes of the astonished executioners. Even the lion did not harm the martyr. It is not surprising that the guards and executioners themselves believed in the Lord, instead of forcing the future saint to be denied Christ.

But these miracles were not enough to protect both Tatyana herself and her father, as well as converts. They chopped off their heads.
