We start preparing honey cake with the acquisition of the necessary ingredients. On the table and put the mixture on it. Knead the dough from mastic and powder. As soon as it becomes soft as clay and begins to pester, we divide the “dough” into four equal pieces. Add a color of food coloring to each part and knead for uniform coloring. We put these colored pieces into bags, wrap them tightly and put them in the refrigerator for half an hour.

Dough for shortcakes can already be taken out of the refrigerator and turn on the oven for heating. Divide the total mass into 6 parts and each roll out cakes. On the rolling pin, transfer the cake to the prepared baking sheet (sprinkled with flour) and send it to the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Repeat the procedure with each cake. Lay them on top of each other and align the edges.

We get the cooked cream and coat them all the cakes. We apply it on top and on the sides of our cake and carefully level it. We send the cake to the refrigerator to harden the cream and get the mastic.

We spread one of its colors on the table with powder and roll it into a circle. The diameter of the circle should be 5 cm larger than the diameter of the cake, and the thickness of at least 3 mm.
