Rapper Pharaoh, who died at 18. Hip-hop revolution in Russia in response to rash stuffing

The origins of the new sound in Russian rap originate from the youth association Young Russia. From there came a lot of interesting rappers, including Pharaoh. Today, he has his own label called Dead Dynasty. The real full name of the performer is Golubev Gleb Gennadevich. Date of birth - January 30, 1996.

Creative way

Gleb began making music back in 2012. In 2013, he released his first track called Cadillac, which was recorded at a friends studio. Further releases followed by "Wadget", Phlora, Dolor (all three were released in 2014-2015). Then a lot of work followed with rappers Boulevard Depo, i61 and other representatives of the new style. In the period from 2016 to 2018, Pink Phloyd was the most anticipated release due to the fact that there was nobody on it except Pharaoh himself.

Throughout his career, the musician has released 6 mixtapes and 4 mini-albums. He took part in 19 videos, the most popular of which was "5 minutes ago", viewed on YouTube at the moment 53 million times. But also one of his most talked about works is Black Siemens and Champagne Squirt. The provocative statement and a fundamentally different sound made the audience both delight and hate.

Style

It is known that hip-hop is a vast field of music with many genres, subgenres and new branches. Pharaoh took his niche in such new trends as cloud rap and trap. In his video works, either someone dies, or the rapper with his team of like-minded people, on the contrary, shows how actually he lives well and expensively. The uniqueness of the performance lies in the appearance and behavior, everything is perfected in his style: from clothes to elementary movements in the frame and intonation of the voice. That is why sometimes even the most distant from rap people respond very highly about the musician, even to a lesser extent talking about sound than about other details.

"Pharaoh - a rapper who died at age 18" - fake

On June 20, 2017, an article appeared in the unofficial community of the VKontakte social network that the rapper died from an overdose of drugs. The stuffing was immediately disseminated by numerous news sources who wanted to raise their ratings. Of course, the deceased Pharaoh would greatly please a huge number of haters of the rapper’s work, but not a single official page of the artist said a word that he would be ill at least with something, not that he was dead.

This rumor is not particularly spread among the target audience, and even more so, among the general public. It's funny that after some time on July 8, 2017, the Pink Phloyd release is released, where two weeks ago the deceased Pharaoh literally shuts his mouths to all ill-wishers and gossips.
