Is Marshal Meters a mystery man?

Marshal Meters - a seemingly ordinary first and last name for an average American citizen. However, not everything is so simple, because this is the name of one of the most famous representatives of the global rap industry - Eminem. Yes, you heard right, the rapper uses a pseudonym for his performances.

Marshal Meters

Marshal Bruce Meters III, that’s exactly the name of the talented rap artist who blew up world music culture with his original songs about fifteen years ago. Teenagers saw in him a new messiah, able to explain to adults that teenagers need understanding, love and care.

Eminem was born on October 17, 1972, and from childhood he rarely sat at home, preferring to disappear on the street with friends. As a teenager, he became interested in rap and began to compose the first tracks, and in 1996 he became a member of the D12 group, where he was noticed by the future producer - the famous Dr. Dre. Under the leadership of the latter, Em began a solo career.

1999 was a fateful year for Eminem, it was then that he presented the debut disc, called The Slim Shady LP. Marshal Meters was able to offer the public a completely new look at the world and people in general. Everyone liked the disregard for the world, so the singer’s career went uphill.

In the wake of success, Eminem writes the next disc, which is even more successful, and for her the rapper receives a prestigious music award - “Grammy”. The album quickly spread around the world, in some countries it was necessary to release an additional circulation. The fees from the second album allowed the musician to establish his own label, on which the D12 group continued to work.

The next album was also quite successful, and Marshal Bruce Meters also received a Grammy for him. At the moment, no one has managed to break the rap artist’s record: he won this prestigious award three times in a row in the category “Best Rap Album”, leaving behind quite famous colleagues.

From 2005 to 2009, Eminem decided to take a break. Much contributed to this: sharply worsened health, the death of a close friend, problems with the family and mother. For four years, the rapper was silent, not giving an interview or making statements. Upon returning to the scene, he admitted that he tried to spend as much time as possible with his daughter Haley Jade.

In 2010 and 2011, two more albums were released, the musician sought to convey to the public what was happening in his head over the last time. To date, Marshal Meters has thirteen Grammy Awards for his musical achievements, and this, according to critics, is far from the limit, and surprises should be expected from Eminem.

However, the rapper himself indirectly confirmed the expectations with his new album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Here, Eminem, according to critics, is no longer a reckless revel, but an adult who is well aware of his actions and is ready to bear some responsibility for them.
