66 years ago, on January 19, 1950, the famous old man, the Rev. Lavrenty of Chernigov , rested . With the words that it is impossible to divide the Holy Trinity - the One Lord God, it is impossible to separate Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, representing Holy Russia in a single whole, His Holiness Patriarch of All Russia Kirill began his speech in front of all the gathered Orthodox people, being in Kiev at the solemn ceremony Celebrating the 1020th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia.
About future
Father Lavrentiy is a holy priest, whose formidable prophecies still do not leave millions of believers alone. Until recently, they were not very clear, but, in connection with the bloody events in Ukraine, much is becoming clear. There was a sharp and massive awareness of the great war being waged against Christ, the Orthodox priesthood and the entire Slavic people.
The saint wrote that the time will soon come when they will repair the inactive churches both outside and inside, the domes on them and the belfries will be gilded, everything will sparkle in the greatest splendor, but when this restoration is over, the Antichrist will reign, and these churches will go it will be impossible.
St. Lawrence: biography
In the world he was called Luke Evseevich Proskura. He was born the sixth child in 1868 in the village of Karilsky (near the town of Korop, Chernigov Province) in a pious rural family. Father died early, mother was often sick. At 13, he graduated from the Zemstvo school. As a child, he fell during the game and hurt himself so that he began to limp. For physical damage, as if in retribution, the Lord awarded him musical gifts.
Once, while in Korop, Luke met the regent of the imperial choir, who came to see his native places. He discovered musical talents in the boy and began to teach him regency art and playing the violin. And in order to help the family with something significant, Luka learned to sew and by the age of 17 became a professional tailor.
Regent Luke
However, Luke soon became regent and wanted to leave as a novice in the monastery, but his older brother asked not to leave them. Together with his friend Simeon, he visited Kiev with his father Jonah, Mount Athos and Palestine. Simeon was accepted into the brotherhood of the Athos monastery, and Luke was sent back to Russia, because there he was needed.
In 1912, when Luke was 45 years old, he was tonsured a monk with the name Lawrence. Then two years passed, and he became a hierodeacon, and after two more - a hieromonk. In 1928 he was secretly consecrated to the rank of archimandrite.
After the revolution, he, like the Kiev-Pechersk saints Anthony and Theodosius, took upon himself the feat of cave living by digging caves in Chernigov in Boldinskaya Mountain near the Trinity Monastery, which became known as Lavrentievs. Nearby were Alipiev caves, on which Abbot Alipiy worked. Father Lavrenty opened the hegumen Alipiy martyrdom, later he was really killed by atheists in the village of Ulyanovka, Sumy region.
When the renovationist schism occurred, Father Lavrenti supported Patriarch Tikhon. His position in relation to the Russian Orthodox Church abroad was also irreconcilable.
Hard time
The Monk Lavrenty is the holy prophet of the Soviet era, whom the Chernigov land gave birth to, giving us many holy ascetics. In the 1930s, after the Trinity Church in Chernihiv was closed, he secretly lived in an apartment (from 1930 to 1942) and could only accept his spiritual children at night.
When the Germans captured Chernigov, at the age of 73 he organized monastic communities: male and female. Then, on Easter, the Trinity Church opened, which became the main center of Orthodoxy in the Chernihiv region.
Saint Lavrentiy (whose photographs are still preserved) once blessed the service of the Metropolitan of Kiev, His Beatitude Vladimir (Sabodan), when he came to him in childhood with his mother.
Prophecies about Ukraine
Regarding the prophecies, it should be noted that Father Lavrentiy is a holy visionary who spoke not only about the last times of mankind, but also about the present. For example, he warned of a split in Ukraine that all false teachings would come out there, together with all evil spirits and secret atheists: Uniates, Catholics, Ukrainian saints, and others. In Ukraine, the canonical Orthodox Church will experience strong attacks, enemies will oppose its unity and collegiality. All of these servants of the Antichrist will be encouraged and supported in every way by the godless authorities, therefore the Orthodox will be beaten and robbed of their parishes. The self-proclaimed Metropolitan of Kiev will greatly shake the Church; like-minded people will help him in this: bishops and priests. But then he himself will sink into eternal perdition, the fate of the traitor Judas awaits him.
Satanic Malice
However, all these machinations of the evil one and false teachings will disappear, and there will be a united Orthodox Church throughout Russia. There will never be a Patriarch in Kiev, because they always lived in Moscow. Already at that time, Rev. Father Lavrenty, a holy elder from the land of Chernigov, warned everyone to beware of the self-sacred Ukrainian church and union.
This conversation was attended by Father Kronid, who did not believe and objected to the priest, saying that they had already disappeared since 1946 and were self-sacred, and the Uniates, but he replied that the demon would enter into them, and they would anger with particular Satanic anger against the Orthodox Church. But a shameful end awaits them, and they will bear the punishment of heaven from the Lord.
Covenant
He bequeathed to all Orthodox that they remembered the dear and native words βRusβ and βRussianβ. And they never forgot that it was the baptism of Russia, and not of Ukraine. Kiev will always be the mother of Russian cities and the second Jerusalem. Kievan Rus cannot be broken with the great Russia, and Kiev separately without Russia is unthinkable.
