Many people have dry, flaky skin . There are a number of reasons for this: dry air, poor nutrition and skin care, lack of vitamins and water. The skin can peel off on any part of the body, but usually the face "gets" most of all.
Most often, peeling of the skin of the face is due to improper care of it. Many popular cleansers are now very dry skin, for example, soap with an antibacterial effect. But ordinary soap (even with herbal supplements) contains alkali, which irritates the skin. Better refuse soap and
alcohol-based lotions. Choose soft foams and
cleansing gels based on olive oil. Lanolin, which is often added to soap, can cause an allergic reaction. And glycerin and propylene glycol draw moisture from the skin and lead to keratinization of the outer layer of the epidermis. Many cosmetics can cause dryness and irritation. If you have peeling, do not get carried away with makeup.
Lack of moisture also adversely affects the skin. Dryness can occur in heated rooms, from sunlight or very hot water. Beauticians advise washing with cool water (room temperature), and after washing, do not wipe your face, but pat it lightly with a soft towel. Under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, the upper layer of cells dies, the skin becomes dry, rough, like parchment, begins to peel off, and wrinkles appear.
Peeling of the skin can also be caused by metabolic disorders or food allergies. It may appear after taking certain medications or from a lack of vitamins and minerals. Try to exclude alcohol, coffee, carbonated drinks, spicy and salty foods. The cause of dry skin can also be dehydration, therefore, to maintain the beauty of the skin, you need to drink at least one and a half liters of water per day.
Also, peeling of the skin may be due to some diseases, for example, psoriasis, ichthyosis, fungal infections. In this case, treatment should be prescribed by a doctor.
In other cases, peeling of the skin can be cured independently. It is very beneficial to lubricate your face with coconut oil instead of a cream . Honey also fights this problem very well (unless there is an allergy to it). You can use just honey for the masks, or you can add olive, peach, almond oil, yolk or aloe juice to it. A very good face mask for peeling is prepared from a banana with sour cream. It not only moisturizes the skin, but also nourishes it with microelements and nutrients.
For masks, you can use any vegetables and fruits. Grated carrots are best at fighting dry skin. If you mix it with oatmeal and milk, then the complexion will improve. Instead of carrots, you can take grated potato (an anti-inflammatory effect will also be added). Another tool that will not only help get rid of peeling, but also whitens the skin, is a mask of grated cucumber with sour cream.
Good moisturizing and nourishing
the effect is the mask of the pulp of any sweet
fruit: kiwi, banana, persimmon, pear.
Do not forget to use a moisturizer more often, and apply a rich nourishing cream at night and after applying the mask. If you take good care of your face, you will soon forget what peeling is.
