In this article we will talk about what symbolizes the Hall of the Race and who is its patron. We will also find out which people are born under its arches and which amulet they should wear.
Slavic calendar
The Svarog circle (or Kolovrat) reflects the movement of the Sun across the sky, the most significant luminary for the ancient Slavs. Thus, our ancestors had their own calendar, which was customarily divided not into months, but into halls. In total there were 16 halls in the year, each of which was patronized by its own god. Also, depending on the palace in which the person was born, it was possible to determine his character, further fate and what amulets he could wear.
Hall Race
This chamber is located in the 15th segment of the Svarog circle, occupying a place almost at the very end of the Slavic year. Representatives of the Race are people who were born between 4 and 28 August. This palace is patronized by one of the most powerful and significant Slavic gods - Dazhdbog.
Chamber tree
In addition to the patron god, the Hall of Race has its own sacred tree. The importance of plants for the Slavs, as well as for many pagans, has always been very great. Trees were endowed with various symbolic meanings, attributed various properties to them, and amulets and charms were made from them.
Tree Race - Ash. Its name can be interpreted as "clarity of mind." In addition, ash is a prototype of the World Tree, which, according to legend, reaches the heavens with its branches and foliage and feeds on its life-giving power. Ash represents the entire structure of the universe, the power of life, fertility and wisdom. Symbols that are usually associated with this tree:
- world axis;
- world mountain;
- world pillar.
The crown of an ash-tree rises above the earth, and its three huge roots go to various parts of the universe, or kingdom:
- Reveal - the world of people.
- Right is the world of the gods.
- Navi is the world of the dead.
Thus, ash, representing the World Tree, is the essence that permeates and unites the entire universe.
Symbol
Like any palace, it has its patron among animals and the Hall of the Race. Its symbol is the White Pardus, the Ras or the white leopard - an independent proud predator, a representative of the cat family, which does not tolerate bondage and always lives only in pairs. The Slavs revered the leopard as an embodiment of honor, courage, and valor; it was called the beast of warriors who are able to save both their homeland and their family, fighting until their death, rejecting any thought of surrendering to the enemy.
Legend has it that the white leopard was first brought to Slavic lands by the god Tarkh (one of the names of Dazhdbog). Therefore, this animal became one of the sacred beasts of Dazhdbog.
People born during this period.
It is believed that people born under the vaults of White Pardus, with trepidation and care, relate to nature, protect it and bring gifts to it. It turns out that the Hall of the Race can be called the constellation of the leopard. And those who were born in this chamber, where the intelligent and graceful predator is the boss, have rather extraordinary personal qualities.
Patience and judgment
A generous patron in the person of a snow leopard gave birth to those born in his chamber with incredible calmness, which helps them cope with the most serious life situations and problems. The Rasa Hall (the description of which is presented here), however, grants only external calmness. From the outside it may seem that the people of this house look at everything that happens with indifference and indifference. However, this is only a superficial impression, they are well aware of what is happening around them and are trying to fix it. Only for this they resort to their natural balance and prudence. Remaining calm, they will always be able to find the best way out of the situation, no matter how difficult it may seem to others, without falling into a panic.
Wisdom and kindness
The Rasa Hall endows those who are under his protection, kindness and wisdom. These character traits help people of the White Leopard constellation easily find friends and quickly join any team, disposing everyone present to themselves. This applies not only to friendly gatherings, but also to work. Communicating with colleagues, such people try to maintain sincerity and good nature, which quickly makes them team favorites.
