The man who will be discussed today has earned many honorary titles. Albert Asadullin (photo below) was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR, People's Artist of Tatarstan, he is loved and revered in all countries of the former Soviet Union. In 1970-1980, his tenor-altino sounded in all corners of the USSR. Today, many have forgotten about him.
Currently, Albert Asadullin, whose biography is, in fact, the subject of our conversation, does not appear as often as at the peak of his creative career. But permanent fans of his talent can always hear him singing at the State Concert and Philharmonic Institution Petersburg Concert, where he has been soloing for many years.
The beginning of the way
Albert Asadullin was born on the first day of autumn, September 1, 1948, in Kazan. Albert's father is a former officer, a participant in the battles of the Great Patriotic War. Mom - Nagima - sang very well, all her friends told her that she should perform in the Philharmonic. But the woman could not leave seven children (her three and four sisters, who died young) and devote herself to creativity. Fortunately, the son inherited his mother's vocal abilities and realized her dream. Parents saw the future of the boy bright and joyful, because they did not interfere with Albert's aspirations to devote his life to art. At first he was a student of the Kazan Art College, then he entered the Academy of Arts. In his student time he participated in the ensemble "Ghosts", proved to be a talented performer.
The final choice of profession
After graduating from the Art Academy in 1975, Albert Asadullin changed his intention to become an artist-architect to a desire to connect his life with stage and music. There was a firm conviction in him that this was his path on which he would certainly achieve success. His debut was the main role in a rock opera under the name "Orpheus and Eurydice" by composer Alexander Borisovich Zhurbin. For this work, Asadullin was awarded the diploma of the British magazine Music Week.
Artist career as part of VIA
The successful performance of Orpheus’s part did not go unnoticed even in his native country - the head of the ensemble “Singing Guitars”, Vasilyev Anatoly, invited the artist to his team. With him, Albert Asadullin traveled throughout the Soviet Union for five years of touring. In 1978, the artist also brilliantly sings in the opera Racing by Yu. Dimitrin and A. Vasiliev. In the same year, Albert Asadullin performed the part of Til Uhlenpiegel in the opera The Flemish Legend by J. Kim and R. Greenblatt.
Solo career
1979 brought the singer a real success - he became the winner of the Golden Orpheus contest. This allowed him to temporarily leave cooperation with vocal and instrumental ensembles and pursue a solo career. Later he became the winner and laureate of many competitions, collaborated with such eminent composers as D. Tukhmanov, V. Matetskiy, A. Petrov, I. Kornelyuk, Yu. Saulsky, V. Gavrilin, S. Banevich. In 1982, Albert Narulovich performed his main - for his entire musical career - composition, which was called "The Road without End". This song sounded in the biographical drama of Menaker Leonid "Niccolo Paganini."
On the wave of success
In 1980, Albert Asadullin created his own ensemble "Pulse" at Lenkontsert. "Pulse" toured the cities of the entire Soviet Union and everywhere was a resounding success. The popular performer Alexander Rosenbaum grew up in this musical ensemble, whose songs were performed by Asadullin himself.
In 1987, the artist's first vinyl disc was released, entitled "All this was with us." The collection includes all the most popular songs of Albert Asadullin, including “Forest Field”, written by Vyacheslav Malezhik and Mikhail Tanich, and “Boy and Girl Friends” by Igor Kornelyuk and Sergey Mikhalkov.
In the period from 1980 to 1984, the artist successfully collaborates with Badchen A.S. and his orchestra, takes part in various government concerts dedicated to public holidays, and actively performs abroad with the Garanyan Orchestra.
In 1984, Albert Narulovich became the soloist of the Regional Philharmonic in Lipetsk. And already in 1988, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR.
Adjustment time
In the early nineties, Asadullin mainly sings Tatar songs, and in 1989 he returned to rock operas. He performs the main part in a rock suite called "Magdi" in the Tatar language. In 1990-1992 Magdi was represented in Moscow, Tatarstan and Leningrad.
The year 1993 gave fans of Asadullin’s creativity a concert that took place in St. Petersburg in the Oktyabrsky Concert Hall. In 1995, the artist released a CD with his best songs.
In 2003, Albert Asadullin took part (voiced one of the heroes) in the animated film “The Dwarf Nose”, which was shot by Ilya Maximov based on the tales of Wilhelm Gauf.
Creativity of recent years
In 2008, in honor of his sixtieth birthday, Albert Narulovich presented his fans an amazing performance, which showed himself to be a versatile artist. The program of the performance included classical works, and rock operas, and Tatar folk songs, and rock potpourri, and even romances. Anniversary concerts were held in Kazan (the artist’s hometown), Moscow and St. Petersburg. In the same year, a concert tour of Albert Asadullin was held in Tatarstan (with the assistance of the government).
In 2010, the artist acted as Maureen Miroy in the famous musical “Nameless Star” based on the play by Sebastian Mikhail. In April of the same year in the Palace of Culture. Gorky Albert Narulovich presented to the audience a new program of poses called "Music of the Soul." Together with the NEVIO team, the artist prepared a unique project of acoustic music. The concert was also attended by singer Victoria VITA and the vocal group FEEL'ARMONY.
In April 2012, the artist performed at a concert of the Minus Treli band at the Aurora Central Concert Hall, where he announced his new program, “With a Song Around the World”. The new project includes folk songs from around the world.
Albert Asadullin: personal life
What happens to the artist behind the scenes has never been a secret for the press. Albert Narulovich willingly shares with journalists some details of his personal life. It is known that in 2006 the Asadullins family moved to the Vsevolozhsk district, the village of Voeikovo, for permanent residence. Albert Narulovich with his wife Alena and two daughters Alina and Alisa finally began to live in their own house. It was here, during construction, that the artist needed his skills as an architect, which he received at the institute. By the way, Albert Narulovich has the eldest son, who works as an artist. The artist wants to see his daughters, one of whom was nine and the other seven years old, just good people. “If any of them becomes an artist, I will be very happy,” Asadullin Albert noted. The artist’s family is a real fortress, where he draws his strength and inspiration.
