University History
The history of the Serpukhov Military Institute of Missile Forces began in November 1940, it was then that he was singled out as a separate school from the MKVATU, which trained the liaison officers. The institution was located in the city of Tushino near Moscow, but during the war years it was forced to move to Serpukhov.
Only during the Second World War, more than 7 thousand specialists in the field of aviation left the school. In 1948, the institution was transformed into a military aviation technical school, and twelve years later it became part of the Strategic Missile Forces (Strategic Missile Forces). The transformation of the school continued until 1971. The university received several diplomas and commemorative badges.
In 1998, the school got its modern name - Serpukhov Military Institute of Rocket Forces (SVI RV). Today, the university is the leader among all Russian military institutes in carrying out rationalization and inventive work. A huge number of applications for new inventions are submitted annually, a quarter of them are discussed in the scientific council of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and receive patents.
University specialties
As of 2015, the Serpukhov Military Institute of Rocket Forces provides training in 18 specialties. The following are very popular: Automobiles and Automobile Economy, Testing Aircraft, Computing Machines, Complexes, Systems and Networks, Electronic Warfare Tools.

For a long time, the project was in demand, but after problems with hosting, it constantly changes its location on the Internet. The project administration does not intend to close it, since it is the link between those that are related to SVI RV.
When can I do it?
Serpukhov Military Institute of Rocket Forces makes serious demands on potential students. They must have a secondary or specialized secondary education, their age should not exceed 22 years (with the exception of those who have already completed military service or are doing it, in this case the age limit is 24 years).
Entrance tests
