Equally magnificent is a mosaic of glass, smalt, mother of pearl and even natural ornamental stones, which creates an amazing shimmering texture. Its cost, of course, is high, but you can not cover the entire surface of the walls with mosaics. It is successfully combined with tiles, natural or artificial stone. But no matter what material we choose, it must meet hygiene requirements and be moisture resistant. It is necessary that the same characteristics have the finish of the floor and ceiling.

The design of the bathroom should not be limited only by the selection of tiles, furniture and stylish plumbing. Here the decor will be very appropriate, which at first glance has little relation to this room. For example, a panel of stabilized living plants on the wall, care for which is not required, collages, photographs under glass, colored stained glass windows with backlight.
To change the interior of the bath, it is not necessary to carry out large-scale repairs. Glass panels with photo prints that fasten screws to the wall will “revive” a good, but slightly annoying tile, the tile can be painted with special ceramic paints and coated with a protective varnish.
The original design of the walls can be done using multi-colored glass elements (balls, flat cakes), which are glued to the tile with waterproof adhesive in the form of an ornament, or imitation of water splashes, a waterfall, whose jets fall down the wall from the ceiling. Artificial trees in tubs look beautiful and unusual in the bathroom, unless, of course, the place allows.
