The improved headset is ideal for lovers of rock or dance music. Sennheiser CX 300 II headphones will also come off for rap fans. Low frequencies of the device simply beat with a fountain, which is not often found in headphones with a similar price. That's just the efforts of the company in this direction played a cruel joke on the headset.
Model CX 300 II shows surprisingly poor results when playing classical, pop songs and even instrumental music. The fact is that the bass strongly distort the song and drown out the high frequencies.
Conventional CX 300s have similar problems. Low frequencies set the headset of a well-known brand not in the best light. Excessive bass creates unpleasant wheezing. Noise reduction of both models is quite worthy. External sounds, not considering the microphone effect, will not be heard. However, almost any headset is not inferior in this regard to the Sennheiser CX 300 II.

Compared to the CX 300, the changes in the updated version are not so dramatic. In a standard headset, the frequency range ranges from 18 to 2100 Hz. The improved version reproduces 19-2100 Hz. The differences are small, but still noticeable.
Sensitivity has also changed a little. In the CX 300 II, the figure is 113 dB, and in the early version 112 dB. The impedance was not changed and remained 16 ohms. In terms of design, the models are absolutely identical.
Price
The cost of both Sennheiser models is almost the same. The price of the device, depending on the version, fluctuates around 2500-3000 rubles. Given all the shortcomings, we can conclude that the headphones do not justify the cost. The company has much more successful models with the same price as the CX 300.
