Formula 1 car - the perfect car

Royal racing, which is popularly known as Formula 1, do not leave indifferent millions of people around the world. Someone directly captures the course of the competitions themselves, and someone is simply delighted with the participating cars, each of which is called β€œFormula 1 car”. If to say a few words about these cars, then in the world of motor sports they are the most advanced from a technological point of view, the fastest and, therefore, the most expensive. No one can compare in speed on a circle with such machines, which is largely achieved thanks to the highest downforce, which is provided thanks to the aerodynamics of the car.

Formula 1 car
The term "car" itself originally came to us from the science of astronomy, in which it denotes a bright meteorite or celestial body. Now this word is so widely used in the world of cars that it just got used to it and is interpreted as a car with open wheels, highlighted in a class that acts separately from other cars. The first Formula 1 car was officially born in 1950, but its counterparts performed at the European Grand Prix championship in 1920.

The oldest among all is the Ferrari team, whose cars have changed more than others. Formula 1 cars developed actively and changed very often. If you take and compare two cars of the same Ferrari team with a difference of 10 years, you can clearly see that they are completely different.

How much is a Formula 1 car
Now, as well as over sixty years ago, the design features and technical characteristics that a Formula 1 car must comply with are determined by the rules of the competition. It contains all, even the smallest, nuances regarding the construction of a car, the volume of its power unit, tire sizes and so on.

It should also be noted that changes to the regulations are introduced annually. It is believed that the largest number of them were introduced in 2009. Then the engineers of all teams had the task of building, in fact, new cars. The result of such innovations was a radical change in the alignment of the forces of competition, when high-speed, successful teams moved to the number of outsiders, and rather slow representatives of the races came in their place.

The car comes with about 80 thousand elements. The basis is the so-called monocoque, the production of which uses carbon fiber or carbon. Note that each Formula 1 car has, as a rule, three separate monocoque. In front of it is the pilot's seat, made purely for a specific driver, and the front suspension. At the rear is a gearbox, motor, deformable fuel tank and exhaust system.

A very important role for each car is played by aerodynamic elements that provide downforce. These include the rear and front wing, made of carbon fiber. In addition to all this, a car also needs electronics, mirrors, cables, suspension arms and so on. All this together costs a lot of money.

Formula 1 cars
Many people are interested in the question of how much a Formula 1 car is worth. The price depends largely on which team performed the assembly. As practice shows, for small teams, a car costs several hundred thousand dollars, while larger ones require several million each. The current maintenance of cars, which reaches the mark of $ 20 million per season, for which the car travels about eight thousand kilometers, is also expensive. So it turns out that for some teams one kilometer costs at least $ 500.
