Education
After school, in 1996, Igor Vladimirovich graduated from the State Law Academy (in Moscow). He received the title of candidate of social sciences. He defended his doctoral dissertation in history. Career
Since 1994, Igor Vladimirovich became an assistant to the deputy, who was the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party (Vladimir Zhirinovsky). At the same time Lebedev led a youth organization from this faction.
For the first time, Igor Vladimirovich Lebedev was included in the LDPR election list in 1995. But he could not get into the State Duma. In 1996, he received a law degree from the Moscow Academy. And until 1998, he worked as an expert expert of the LDPR party in the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

December 7 of the same year he became a deputy of the State Duma of the 4th convocation. As before, he led the LDPR party and was a member of several state commissions and committees.
In September 2007, elections were held again. Lebedev was again in the top three contenders. In December, he won the election and became a deputy of the State Duma of the 5th convocation. He also remained the head of the LDPR and a member of the Committee on Legislation and Construction.
In December 2011, Lebedev Igor Vladimirovich was again elected as a deputy of the 6th convocation. In the pre-election race, his name was declared in the list from the LDPR. A little later, in the same month, Lebedev was elected deputy chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
