Biography
Alla Yurievna Perfilova (Valeria's real name) was born in 1968 in a family of Atkarsk cultural workers. Perhaps this is precisely what influenced her hobbies. She began to play the piano and made good progress. Alla also finished secondary school perfectly.
After graduation, she was offered a job as part of the Impulse ensemble in the Saratov Philharmonic, and this was what influenced the further choice of a higher educational institution. The team toured with the leader Leonid Yaroshevsky in the cities and towns of the region. Later, Alla takes part in Jurmala-87, which was a serious test for her, as the jazz composition did not bring success, but, on the contrary, went unnoticed by the jury and the public.
The young singer continued to study at the Gnesins' Music Academy, where she studied under Joseph Kobzon himself! And in her free time, a talented girl earned her living by singing in clubs and restaurants. It was thanks to her strong character, organization, and determination that she did an excellent job with her studies, and the teachers were pleased with her success.
Carier start
In 1988, viewers heard and saw a rising star for the first time with the song "Be with me." Soon she took the pseudonym Valery. In 1991, the singer won the Morning Star contest, and a year later she won the audience award at Jurmala-92.
In 1992, with the participation and support of foreign performers, the English album The Taiga Symphony was released, and the album "Stay with me", which collected Russian romances. In 1995, the song "My Moscow" was released, which quickly found its listener. And the second song “Airplane” from the album received an award at the festival “Song of the Year”.
Thanks to the support of her second husband, Alexander Shulgin, the artist’s popularity is growing, she goes on tour, her songs are listened to, loved and recognized. In 2001, Valeria announced her departure from the scene for family reasons, and went home with her children.
Triumphant return to the scene
However, two years later, Valeria still returned to the stage under the strict guidance of Joseph Prigogine. And in October of this year, the album "Country of Love" was released, rapidly gaining popularity. A year later, the singer received the award "Muz-TV" in the nomination "Best performer". Since then, all the magazines were full of her photos.

In 2014, the singer was awarded the title of People's Artist of Russia. This is well deserved, because Valeria’s discography is truly rich.
Personal life of the singer
For the first time, the singer married the leader of the Saratov ensemble "Impulse", which pushed her on the path of music education and thanks to which she chose Gnesinka.
After meeting in 1992 at one of his performances in a restaurant with producer Alexander Shulgin, the girl’s relationship with Yaroshevsky did not change for the better. The meeting was truly fateful. In 1993, Valeria became engaged to her producer, during the marriage they had a daughter, Anna, and two sons - Artemy and Arseny. Tyranny in the family and assault broke the relationship, and at one point she decided to leave.
Despite the fact that after the story with Alexander Valeria vowed to start a relationship at work, love was stronger. In 2004, the singer married Joseph Prigogine for the third time, and became truly happy. Now they are willing to give interviews and talk about their large family. The couple has six children, but unfortunately they have no common children. Musically, the creative union does not cease to please us with new hits, and Valeria’s discography is constantly growing.
Based on the singer’s autobiographical book, "And Life, and Tears, and Love ..." a film was shot where Anastasia Savosina played the main role. This is a thoughtless story about the reverse side of show business, which few of us understand, and the difficult fate of a strong woman.
