If we take into account the fact that Michelangelo was the first among the other recognized geniuses to glorify this type of play, then it can be argued that the great sculptor became the founder of subtribution in the fine arts of those times.
In the modern world, there are many copies of Michelangelo’s play, and the original is stored in the Vatican City in St. Peter's Basilica. Giorgio Vasari wrote that the sculptor accidentally heard a dispute between people about who is the true author of this creation.
