We apply the paint of the selected shades to the surface, independently choosing a pattern, with a paint brush about 8 centimeters wide. Alternately apply one shade to the wall, then another.

Shading process

Using a sponge, a plastic bag or both of these devices at once, mix and blend both shades. The final result should look like soft transitions from the first shade to the second, without leaving clear boundaries and obvious traces of the brush.

Imitate veins

Mix the darkest shade of all selected with glaze in a ratio of one to four. With the ready-made solution, we draw veins on the painted surface using a brush with a long, pointed end. We paint with a brush inhomogeneous broken lines, similar to streaks on a natural marble surface.

In the same ratio, mix the glaze with the lightest shade of paint. Gently dipping a feather into the solution, draw it over the surface with a small hatch. If somewhere the lines turned out to be too obvious and noticeable, you can shade them a little with a sponge.
