Biography

Alexander Kogan was born in 1980, on April 15, in Dushanbe. At the age of six, he moved to Moscow with his family. In 1990, Valery Kogan, the father of our hero, was sent to work in New York at the UN headquarters. The family leaves for the USA.

Education

Alexander Kogan was educated in America. In 1995-1998 he was a student at Woodside Priory College in California. He later entered George Mason University in Virginia. He is a political scientist by education. He plays the guitar and piano.

Music career

Alexander Kogan began to take an interest in art from the age of seven. It was then that he was attracted to playing the piano. The first sketches of his own works for this instrument appeared at the age of 14. When he was 18, he assembled a music group. Combined creativity and study. Getting higher education, he managed to play in a musical collective. He performed at various student events. With tours traveled many American cities.

After graduation, he returned to Moscow. In 2001, begins to cooperate with Alla Pugacheva. Taking the pseudonym Christian Ako, he writes down several songs. In 2004-2010, Alexander Kogan is engaged in a solo career, while collaborating with American producers: David Foster and Walter Afanasyev. The artist performs in New York at a recital. In 2011, begins cooperation with Viktor Drobysh, a Russian producer and composer. The result of this collaboration is the recording of the single "Who Invented the World." The song brings our hero “Golden Gramophone”. This was followed by the creation of several more compositions.

In 2012, in New York at a concert, an acquaintance with Julio Iglesias took place. In 2013, the latter invites our hero to open concerts in Ukraine and Russia. At the end of this tour, Julio Iglesias proposes to continue cooperation on a world tour. The composer opened concerts in South America, Holland, Canada, Israel, USA, UK, Ireland. As an honored guest, the musician took part in the Slavic Bazaar several times. He was also invited to the international contest "New Wave" held in Jurmala and Sochi.
