How long have you been at an art exhibition in Moscow? But all the museums of the capital every day offer anyone who wants to look at the best masterpieces of world art. Do not put off until later what you can see this weekend. So how to spend your weekend for the benefit of the soul?
Classic art
Speaking of exhibitions in art museums in Moscow, the first thing I want to note is the expanded exhibition of paintings presented in the house-museum of V. Vasnetsov. Every year, employees of the institution organize a demonstration of little-known paintings of the famous Russian painter for guests and residents of the capital. This year the theme "landscapes" was chosen. An inexperienced viewer may be surprised that Viktor Vasnetsov painted nature not as an addition to his paintings, but as a finished work. Many associate the painter with the chanting of Russian life and people. But not always a person served as an inspiration for the artist. The picture will be finished only if the background is as deliberate as the foreground. Vasnetsov knew this well and often wrote nature from nature. He was very fond of Moscow landscapes, which formed the basis of such works as "Alyonushka", "Athletes" and many other paintings.

Anyone can visit this exhibition and look at the landscapes of Vasnetsov until September 17, 2017. The exhibition takes place in the house-museum of the artist at the address: Moscow, per. Vasnetsova, d. 13.
The work of our contemporaries
Art exhibitions held in Moscow are usually associated with the creators of the past, but do not forget that among our contemporaries there are often talented people. One of them is Sergey Gonkov. This is a famous illustrator, whose portfolio includes more than 50 books. Among them are world-famous authors: Bulgakov and Gogol, as well as the famous Russian writers Turgenev and Chekhov. An interesting feature of Gonkov is that for each work he comes up with a unique style of drawing. The exhibition of book illustrations takes place at the address: Moscow, Gorokhovskiy per., 17. You can visit it from 11:00 to 19:00.
Unconventional art
One of the interesting art exhibitions in Moscow is the exposition of the works of people with autism. Recently, more and more often the work of such artists is in demand.
After all, it is interesting how the world sees a person who does not need others for a comfortable existence. The exhibition "People must be different" raises many social questions, the answers to which, unfortunately, are very difficult to give. You can look at how people with autism see the world at the address: Moscow, st. Dolskaya, 1, Small Palace.
Richness of color
The organization of an art exhibition in Moscow by the famous artist Vazha Okitashvili, visitors are obliged to the Museum of Modern Art. After all, it was his staff who organized the exposition of the artist’s works for the 65th anniversary. At the exhibition, which will be held in the exhibition hall of the Russian Academy of Arts, 150 paintings by Okitashvili will be presented. The artist’s creativity is original. You can’t help smiling at his work, because they are all so colorful and vibrant. But at the same time, all the paintings carry a deep inner meaning. The main theme of creativity of the Georgian painter chooses a house, family and scenes from everyday life. The artist is trying to unite generations through his art.
The paintings presented at the exhibition will find recognition not only among adult viewers, but also among the smallest admirers of art. You can get spiritual pleasure at the address: Moscow, st. Prechistenka, d. 21.
Endangered animals
In early March, a new art exhibition opened in Moscow. Under the roof of the Darwin Museum, an exhibition of the works of the artist Andy Warhol, called “Endangered Species,” was presented. The exhibition was dedicated to the year of ecology.
The organizers of this event through paintings want to draw the attention of visitors to the beauty of rare wildlife. There are very few of them left, and if people do not struggle with poaching, then soon there will not be a single beast, and, therefore, there will be no one to serve as a kind for the artist. At this exhibition,
Andy Warhol presented paintings of animals in a non-trivial color scheme, which should emphasize the uniqueness of the flora and fauna of our planet.
You can visit the exhibition at the following address: Moscow, st. Vavilova, d. 57.
Hobbies are different
Not all art exhibitions in Moscow show the work of classics or contemporaries. Some exhibits showcase collections of famous people. One of these is an exhibition of paintings collected by Vladimir Spivakov. Vladimir is a famous musician, head of the Moscow International House of Music. A passion for painting appeared in childhood, but he failed to embark on an artistic path. Nevertheless, the love of painting remained with Spivakov forever. That is why he began to collect works of art.
For the most part, his collection includes works by Russian painters and graphic artists, but also works by foreign authors. The collection contains even such rare specimens as examples of glass painting. This exhibition was organized by the efforts of Boris Mints. He met part of the collection of Vladimir Spivakov at the International House of Music. It was there that the musician transferred about 100 copies from his collection. Vladimir believes that art should not please only one person. Creativity in all its manifestations needs to be shared with others. You can see the collection of Spivakov at the Museum of Russian Impressionism at Leningradsky Prospekt, 15.
