Those who are interested in the religion of Muhammad, and especially novice Muslims, it is important to know how to perform namaz. This word is a Persian version of the Arabic “salavat”, i.e. "prayer". She is one of the five pillars of Islam.
Any Muslim who is in his right mind and being an adult, according to the rules of his religion, must perform namaz. He is obliged to do this at least five times a day, or even more if he himself so desires, because this is one of the most important moments of his faith. So this article is about how to perform namaz.
There are several critical requirements for this action. Firstly, before performing the prayer, you need to wash yourself (small or large bath, depending on the degree of purity of the body). If it is not possible to use water for this purpose, you can wipe with sand. The procedure is performed at a strictly defined time. During prayer, the body of a Muslim, like his clothes, should be clean and not defiled by anything. Further, according to Sharia, some parts of the body must be closed before performing the prayer. The worshiper should be facing towards Mecca. And, of course, one of the most important conditions is the special mood of the believer.
There are a number of possible reasons why a Muslim’s prayer can be considered invalid, the most important of which is apostasy. If a person does not comply with any of the five main pillars of Islam (al-shahada, salat, al-haj, saum and zakat or sadaka), then his prayer is also considered to be invalid. Also, a prayer is considered invalid if a Muslim intentionally performs any erroneous actions during prayer (extra words, bowing or accepting an improper posture, distorting the canonical order of the Sunnah words, eating or drinking, laughter). It must not be done in the toilet, on the grave or facing it (with the exception of funeral prayer), in the toilet, in the bathhouse or in desecrated places. There are a number of undesirable actions during prayer (turning your head, lifting it up, etc.).
Now a little more about how to perform prayers. Since this procedure is rather long, below the attention of the reader is offered only its standard beginning. First, takbir is pronounced - praise to Allah (the words "Allahu akbar"). Then comes the introduction, that is, a few certain phrases in Arabic about the greatness of God and a request for protection from shaitan. Then the believer reads the first seven verses from the Surah Al Fatih, ending the reading with the word "Amen." Raises his hands, palms up, saying takbir and bowing, bending his head at the level of the belt. Being in this position, he must say three times: "subhana rabiya l azim." Straightening up, the prayer speaks in Arabic: “may Allah hear him praising him,” and raising his hands, he says: “Lord, our praise be to you.” Then - the turn of the bow of the earth with the simultaneous utterance of takbir.
An important question is how to pray to a woman. She should be dressed so that the whole body is completely closed, except for the palms and face, and so that the outlines of her figure are not visible through the clothes. First, a woman raises her palms to her chest level, keeping them open. Then internally manifests the intention to pray. Joins palms on the chest and pronounces takbir. Standing reads “Subhanaka”, then, after the words “Auzu of Bismilli”, pronounces the surah “Al Fatiha”, after which he reads some small surah. Pronounces takbir, bending over; the slope should be less than that of a man. Reads "Subhana Rabbiyal Azayim." The "female" version of prayer, in addition to the content of prayers, also differs in the poses that the prayer should take.
Further about some types of prayers in Islam. We will first touch upon those that are “fard,” that is, obligatory: morning (namaz al-subh), midday (az-zuhr), afternoon (al-asr), evening (al-magrib), night (al-ishaa), and also, Friday (al-juma) and prayer for to the deceased (namaz al-janazah). Among others - the vitr (performed before bedtime), the spirit (after sunrise), ishrak (at the same time), kusuf and husuf (they are performed by a group of people during a lunar or solar eclipse), a source (request for Allah to send rain) . In the holy month of Muslims , Ramadan, they make tarawih prayer. How to make it? On fasting days, after night prayers. Tarawih usually consists of four or ten prayers.
