A carburetor is a device for accurately dosing fuel in the air stream. The part contributes to the formation of a combustible mixture of air and fuel, and also regulates its supply to the engine cylinders.
CARBURETOR DEVICE
At present, the Ozone carburetor is being installed on automobiles. This is a part of the emulsion type, with a feed stream, two-chamber. The carburetor device is as follows:
balanced float chamber;
main dosing systems (two);
eco -ostat (enrichment device). Located in the second chamber;
idle system (autonomous);
transition systems between the first and second cameras;
accelerator diaphragm pump with a spray in the first chamber;
electromagnetic shut-off valve in the idle system;
a device for removing gases from the crankcase behind the throttle;
pneumatic actuator for the throttle valve of the second chamber;
manual control system for the air cover part of the first chamber, with a cable drive;
carburetor trigger with diaphragm. Serves to automatically open the shutter after starting the electric motor. The process occurs due to vacuum in the intake manifold;
- connection for vacuum selection when controlling the ignition timing controller.
HOW THE OZONE CARBURETOR WORKS
The device for supplying fuel to the carburetor ensures its entry through the filter screen and needle valve. The valve maintains the desired fuel level in the float chamber.
The mixture is received from the float chamber through the fuel main jets of the first and second chambers. Fuel passes into emulsion wells and tubes. In the tubes, it mixes with the air flow coming from the nozzles. Next, the emulsion is advanced into the large and small carburetor diffusers through spray guns.
After ignition is switched on, the fuel idle system channel is blocked by an electromagnetic shut-off valve . In a voltage state, the valve must be open.
The process of selecting fuel from the emulsion well of the first chamber is carried out by the system at idle. Fuel moves through a nozzle connected to an electromagnetic shut-off part. The fuel is mixed with air, which enters through the idle jet and the openings of the transition system from the first chamber. The resulting emulsion combines with air and enters the pipeline.
The air-fuel mixture, when the throttle valves are partially opened, enters the chambers through the openings of the transition system. The process takes place before the main dosing system works.
Econostat facilitates the flow of the fuel mixture from the chamber float to the atomizer. Concentrating device starts to work under condition of maximum power. When this occurs, the enrichment of the fuel emulsion.
The accelerator pump has ball valves. One opens at the moment of filling with fuel and closes under the weight of the ball after stopping the flow of the mixture. Another valve opens under fuel pressure and closes also under the weight of the ball.
The carburetor starting device includes a number of parts: an air damper, telescopic draft, a control lever, a throttle damper drive thrust, a throttle damper control actuator, and a diaphragm mechanism. When pulling the handle of the drive by the driver, the air damper closes, the throttle opens slightly.
It is important to know that carburetor repair, its adjustment with partial disassembly is recommended to be performed after its removal. Work requires accuracy, cleanliness. Before disassembling, remove dirt from the surface with a clean rag moistened with a special compound. The car owner must have the necessary knowledge about the parts and components, including the carburetor device.
