  1. Small strawberries (1 kg) are picked, washed and stacked in a pot.
  2. In a stewpan with a thick bottom, syrup is made from 500 g of sugar and 70 ml of water.
  3. As soon as the syrup begins to thicken, it must be removed from the stove and pour berries on it.
  4. Cover the pot with strawberries with a napkin and leave it in this form for 1 hour.
  5. Once the syrup has cooled, it must be drained from the berries and again poured into a stewpan.
  6. Repeat the same procedure at least 4 times, each time draining the syrup from the berries. For the fifth time, jam is rolled up in jars.
