Biography
The musician was born in Moscow on March 5, 1964, his real name is Uvarov. There is practically no mention, Alexander Laertsky himself does not tell about his family, the childhood of the musician is still an unsolved mystery. We only know about his wife, whom he considers to be a "single copy" and with a sense of humor calls Aunt Nadia. After marriage, he decided to do the opposite and took the name of his wife.
Composer, poet, writer, actor, journalist, singer, radio host is one of the most mysterious representatives of the rock community. The author of informal lyrics with countless texts full of obscene vocabulary. From the very beginning, he was a separate figure in a rock party and remains so until now.
After college, the first profession was ornithology. He studied mountain birds, hummingbirds, was engaged in the design of air routes based on the migration routes of migratory birds. In 1987, Alexander got a job at the design research institute named after Karpov, a computer adjuster, where he found like-minded musicians and created a group. After the school punk rock gang, this is his first major project. He is the founder and indispensable leader of the Laertes Band group, the Voice of the Family ensemble.
In the spring of 2011, the musician suffered a stroke. Significant amounts of money were required for his rehabilitation, so friends and colleagues on the shop held fundraising campaigns and held charity concerts. The artist stopped his active creative activity, he could neither sing nor play the guitar, but he did not give up and continues to write poetry, work on a book for children about the canary Chirik. Now writes maxims for the online version of the men's magazine.
It is surprising that Laerteski basically refused to make video clips of his songs, and he recorded all the latest albums alone at his home studio, so it took one couple of years to record one. Few people know, but Alexander is a talented diving artist. Reproductions of his paintings are used in the design of some of his albums.
Beginning of the creative path
He gathered his own musical group at school in 1979, it lasted several years. Then, while studying at a technical school from 1982-1985. the musical activity of Laertes Alexander was temporarily interrupted, and only by 1986 the band was assembled again. The enthusiastic guys recorded "Heat Sector". As Alexander Laertsky recalled, songs were born quickly:

The record was distributed among students of the chemistry department of Moscow State University and was a success. The second brainchild, "Coming from the lower apartments," was recorded on a regular tape recorder and was distinguished by hooligan motives.
Musical projects
Songs of Laertes Alexander, endowed with black humor, irony, household themes and profanity became known before the author himself. The first albums recorded on magnetic tape of a regular tape recorder were not intended for the general listener, but found their fans.
After the musician got a job at the research institute, he discovered that many talented guys work there, who also write songs. In 1985, the Hairy Glass acoustic project was released, which subsequently created an incomprehensible confusion with the name of the group. In 1987, the guys recorded three albums: Rastut Rebiata Patriotami ("The Children Are Growing Patriots"), "Kobzonoid", "Day of Knowledge". Not the best quality audio, began to spread with great speed. Albums of black humor of the Hairy Glass group, which, in principle, really did not exist, were wandering among students, taxi drivers, and rock parties. In the same year Laertesian soloist Midnight Blues was released.
Soon, it was decided to recruit the classical composition of the group - the piano, violin, guitar, percussion, bass cello and name the band "Persistence of memory". In this composition, several high-quality studio albums were recorded: Swedenborg Oval Mirror, Pioneer Dawn, Woman with a Trumpet, Milkers of Exhausted Toads. Alexander Laertsky became the author of the most famous songs: “Children bury a horse”, “Iron stick sticks out in the stomach”, “Young Komsomol member” scattered throughout the camp of the hit. By the end of the 80s. the team broke up. Laerteski practically did not appear on the stage; his public appearances came down to apartment owners until 1992.
Laertes Band
Since the beginning of the 90s. At the concerts of Alexander Laertsky, he began accompanying the Laertes Band band, which consisted mainly of young, academically educated musicians. Performances on stage resembled gatherings citing verses by Alexander and favorite songs.
All concerts took place with a full house. Together with Laertsky, K. Suvorov (drums), A. Korolev (keyboards), bassists A. Kulakov, V. Kozinsky performed at concerts (then Y. Ruvinov appeared in 1996).
Most of the material was officially reissued in 1996 by Elias, then Alexander Laertesky recently recorded albums on his own at his own home studio.
Radio and tv
From 1992 to 2001, the musician works at the radio stations Echo of Moscow and Silver Rain. In 1993 Laertius was the host of the weekly curfew program. From an hourly broadcast, she then turned into a nightly one called Montmorency. Since 1996, the same program began to be broadcast on the Silver Rain radio station, this happened for the first time in the history of radio broadcasts. The charisma, charm and intelligence of Laertes Alexander prevailed.
Since 2007, he led his own column in the journal Bear. But the true fame and recognition of Laertes Alexander, as a radio host, came after the release of the program "Montmorency". In 2011, on the television channel "Nostalgia" he became the author and host of the program "The Flask of Time", where he, along with Skype and telephone, remembered and discussed old soviet memes. He was invited as a guest, an expert on radio and television programs.
The art of Laertes
The musician’s songs are rich in “drama”, each is a short story about something unusual or banal simple. Most often they are filled with toilet humor and obscenities. Sometimes Laertes is called the king of song memes.
The aesthetics of his art is extremely ingenuous and stingy. He never recorded professionally, all the compositions were recorded in an ordinary apartment, while the musician played the role of a guitarist, keyboard player, vocalist and arranger, only occasionally inviting assistants for a high-quality instrumental solo or for singing along.
