Antichrist is the earthly, human incarnation of Lucifer, the most beautiful angel of God, predicted in Revelation. He is the embodiment of the forces of evil on earth. The text of the prayer of St. Nectarios is as follows:
Lord Jesus Christ, our God, deliver from deceit near the coming, god-wicked evil deceiver of the Antichrist; and deliver from all his wiles. And shelter our Spiritual Father (Name), all of us, His spiritual children and all Orthodox Christians, from his treacherous nets in the hidden desert of Your salvation. And do not allow us, Lord, to fear the fear of the devil more than the fear of God and to depart from You and from Your Holy Church. But let us, Lord, suffer and die for Your Holy Name and the Orthodox Faith, but do not deny You and accept the seal of the curse of the Antichrist and do not bow to him. God grant us, day and night, tears of our sins and spare us, Lord, on the day of Your Last Judgment. Amen.
The power of prayer
The essence of the Antichrist, when he comes to power before the coming of Christ, will destroy the human soul, therefore, daily reading of prayers of protection will protect a person from temptations. It is believed that prayer against the Antichrist weakens witchcraft.
