In the spring of 2015, the Gucci Fashion House launched the new Gucci Bamboo Eau de Parfum. The aroma is very different from the products previously presented. And it's not just the bottle.
Traditionally, "Gucci" produces rich loop aromas, with the possible exception, perhaps, of only the Flora Garden line. The novelty of spring and summer 2015 does not fit into the generally recognized canons of the Fashion House. Well, nothing stands still - everything flows, everything changes. And, of course, such changes are only for the better.
Advertising campaign
The face of the Gucci Bamboo fragrance was chosen by the famous model and novice actress Gal Gadot. It was she, according to the designers, who embodies all the basic features of the new Gucci woman. Tender, graceful, fragile, but at the same time sexy, strong and independent. This combination of strength and femininity is the main motive of the advertising campaign.
The fascinating and memorable video was shot by the famous director Fabien Baron, an advertising photo shoot was held by Mert and Marcus. A naked back, delicate pink and purple shades, rather massive wrist bracelets and bamboo decorations reveal the idea of the director and photographers. Harmony, the unity of the two principles, it would seem, incompatible, absolute sensuality and perseverance.
History of creation
Gucci Bamboo (perfume) was created in honor of the famous, one might say, iconic Bamboo Bag. All fashionistas want to have this cute kitty in their collection. For her sake, even stars stand in line, replenishing waiting lists. A feature of the handbag that distinguishes it from a number of similar products is a convenient semicircular handle made of real bamboo. It was because of the handle that the bag got its name. Now the original model has been upgraded to include other bamboo details: the base of decorative leather tassels.

Perfume is a sophisticated perfume composition with a carefully thought out and verified pyramid. Despite the telling name, there is no bamboo in the composition. Like the fondly beloved Frida Giannini patchouli, which are present in almost all compositions of the perfumer.
The aroma reveals a well-recognized, bright and juicy citrus note of bergamot. Exotic ylang-ylang, delicate orange flowers and heady lily come into play behind it. The final chords, giving a stable loop, sound warm notes of ambergris, sensual sandalwood and sweet vanilla.
All components are natural, without artificial substitutes.

The fragrance belongs to the family of woody-floral. Persistent, lasts up to 8-9 hours on the skin, but the sound of perfume is very individual. All notes are revealed gradually, with soft transitions.
Perfume can be worn every day, including at work. They fit perfectly into even the most rigorous dress code, thanks to their delicate femininity.

Gucci Bamboo (perfume) is available in three volumes: 30, 50 and 75 ml. The average cost is 4600, 6600 and 8680 rubles for each volume, respectively.

These are not the usual strict and concise minimalist forms in which perfume is usually enclosed. This is something new. A polyhedron with convex sides, shaped like a diamond. It’s just nice to hold it in your hands and watch the light shimmer on the edges and sparkle in soft pink water.
The bottle is crowned with an original cap. She is like a link in a bamboo trunk made of quality material. Silver and severity are in perfect harmony with the multifaceted transparency of the bottle itself.

The fragrance of Gucci Bamboo reviews since the start of sales is the most versatile. Someone lacks in it the usual depth and severity of winter scents, so it causes skepticism and even disappointment among buyers. Yes, Gucci Bamboo is definitely not Guilty. But he deserves a respectful attitude, as he is good for other seasons, namely for summer and spring. Those who are not inclined to twist their nose, seeing something very different from iconic perfumes, and are ready to try new ones, leave more favorable comments about Gucci Bamboo. The aroma is characterized as bright, persistent, multifaceted, sparkling and very delicate. This is not beloved by many "kompotik", but a great alternative to all the boring freshly-floral compositions from other well-known perfume houses.
How to distinguish an original from a fake
- The first thing you should pay attention to when buying is packaging. It should be pale pink, without shimmering in lilac or lilac colors.
- The intersection of bamboo rings forms the brand logo of the brand - a double letter "G", going a little on the ends. The absence of rings on the end means that you are holding a fake in your hands.
- The inscription "Gucci" on the front side of the package is matte black, made in medium fat font. Letters should not leave traces of paint on the fingers after being drawn on them. "Bamboo" is located in the center of the inscription "Gucci", the letters are thin, delicate black, the double "O" is slightly elongated to the sides and looks more like a circle than an oval.
- On the back, all inscriptions, including composition and country of origin, must be silver.
